He just didn't have the proper development to become who he is at the end of the manga. He went from being someone who saw omegas as fuckholes and breeding machines and wouldn't hesitate to rape them, to someone who's sheltering an omega because it was convenient for him to have regular sex, to a sudden loving and caring man. I don't buy his character at all. Also, the main couple has a chemistry of coffee and ranch. I don't feel enough love and motivation between them becoming lovers.
