I read this because everyone said it was funny but i didn't expect my heart to be absolutely TORN TO SHREDS. WHAT THE FUCK. That scene where they run together in the rain was like. Peak of humanity. I refuse to believe that human can create anything more beautiful than that. I don't know what to feel about the MC's definition of being gay, because that's fucked up, but atst he'd only known the skewed and ugly part of it, so it's understandable. The art is exquisite, and the sex is also VERY graphic lmao that was very unexpected but i didn't mind it that much because their love is so beautiful. It might seem weird if you think it over, because they literally interacted 3 times in the manga before they got together, but i guess when you've always felt empty your whole life, finding someone that can make you feel alive is something really worth holding on.

This was good! The worldbuilding, lore, and demons are fascinating, it's pretty well written, the visual is amazing (that brothel-slash-red-district on top of a flying skull....top notch), the romance between MC and ML is *chef kiss*, and i'm impressed by the author's ability to cram that much plot and development in one volume. The ending is a cinematic masterpiece.

Speedrun dating wjwjw i wasn't really feeling it at first because from MC's perspective they literally just met for a few hours before they became lovers lmao they moved so FAST. It did get better when the truth came out, but also i dont get why the ex had to behave like a children book villain?? Idk man everyone here is like, on the max setting of every stereotype. But the relationship is healthy as fuck with consensual caring sex and Communication, and it does have a nice (albeit too in the face) life lesson so good for em.

TW: sexual assault (not between MCs), dubcon because of heat and pheromone bullshite I actually rly like them, especially with their daughter, though i hate the cliche ABO dynamics. Their banter and chemistry are great, and it's all healthy safe consensual between them but once it introduced more conflict and new characters it kinda fell flat. I wish the story was more focused on them and their married life instead.

I liked it a lot! I wish the author could develop the relationship more because it did feel lacking. Some people said that MC is annoying, which i don't understand because i think he's a really adorable character.

Aaah another adaptation of a great slice-of-life / coming-of-age novel by WuZhe! The pacing of the manhua can be a bit disorienting but overall the story is great. It's full of the mundane goodness that i love from WuZhe's works, and I want to keep reading it forever.

TW: animal characteristics This appeased the teenager in me whshzhh the animal characterization doesn't have any impact to the story, and if you ignore the ears and tails it's just a good romance between two guys. Not much going with the plot but still a nice read.

The relationship between the main characters feels pretty realistic to me. I can see myself giving the same reactions and responses ML had for MC's (burning) love for him, had i been in his position. Author did well in writing both the familiarity and awkwardness that comes with having your bestfriend as your lover. Edit: whoops it's still ongoing! Volume 2 is surprisingly gooodddddd (so far). I didnt expect it because it felt finished in vol 1 and i was worried that itd just be redundant, but it's actually a good sequel with superb writing.

I like the MC, not so much the love interest. I usually love friends to lovers trope but kitahara pisses me off so bad that it kinda spoils everything for me. He's selfish, entitled, and the way they got together made it seem like he wanted minami back only because he had the mentality of a toddler who didn't want his old toy to be snatched away by someone else.
