Giving it 4 stars bc the start's really strong like that panel direction and writing were insanely good i was floored. That part about them being similar because one was always looking at the other was great, it got a delicious amount of angst, and the girl characters were strong and likeable, but it was kinda disappointing. Maybe i set my expectation too high but I couldn't feel the chemistry between Tanaka and Nakata despite everyone saying that they were inseparable. The title is literally "like two peas in the pod", but there was no moment that made me go "yep they should be with each other", and the peak of conflict and resolution were weak, which was a shame bc it had the potential to be rly Great.

I liked it a lot! I wish the author could develop the relationship more because it did feel lacking. Some people said that MC is annoying, which i don't understand because i think he's a really adorable character.

Oo that was pretty nice. I didn't expect it and i was dreading that it would turn into a pushy top and frightened bottom situation, but it's not like that at all. Also it's really cute to see the usually indifferent Suzuki care so much about Tanaka and his interests.

Ohoho i do love it when two manly men shuffle their feet like grade schoolers because they're too awkward with romance. And this one is a friends to lovers too! Very nice.

TW: sexual favor, dubcon Hol up a min.....i actually like it? Based on the premise i didnt think i would, but it's actually decent. The chemistry is great and I especially commend the author for making the MC acknowledge that he might be into boys, none of that "straight as a ruler except for one guy" bullshit narrative.

TW: dubcon sex, abuse (drug, alcohol, power, sexual, mental, physical....you name it), toxic characters and relationship, threat of rape between MCs I kept reading this one because i'm a huge fan of the translator group. Like--their work is Superb. They even translated key scenes from the original novel that makes it all the more immersive. Story wise it's definitely not my cup of tea, but now that i've finished reading the main part of the story, i was pretty glad that this turned out to be different from other manhwas that tried to take on a darker theme but just ended up romanticizing abuse like always. I never felt like the author is trying to make the MCs seem perfect for each other. It was clear cut from the very beginning that these characters are fucked up.

Buddy cop romance! Relationship between main characters is good, i always like friends to lovers trope, especially in the action genre (those "please dont get hurt"s "be careful"s and "ive got you"s.... chef kiss). However, the plot was pretty....lacking? Lots of them started without proper conclusion. Panels are confusing sometimes, and i couldnt get into the cases they worked on, probably bc they were so short with so little details.
