TW: power imbalance, dubcon I stopped reading ages ago but never bothered to mark this manhua as dropped. Don't get me wrong, the art is gorgeous as hell and the story is decent (albeit declining halfway through) but imo it's as good as done by the time the MCs got together and i had no motivation to continue reading.

I'm always weak to this kind of premise -- the story itself didnt have much going on but i love the dynamic of the characters. Wish there were more of them hanging out.

TW: dubcon sex, abuse (drug, alcohol, power, sexual, mental, physical....you name it), toxic characters and relationship, threat of rape between MCs I kept reading this one because i'm a huge fan of the translator group. Like--their work is Superb. They even translated key scenes from the original novel that makes it all the more immersive. Story wise it's definitely not my cup of tea, but now that i've finished reading the main part of the story, i was pretty glad that this turned out to be different from other manhwas that tried to take on a darker theme but just ended up romanticizing abuse like always. I never felt like the author is trying to make the MCs seem perfect for each other. It was clear cut from the very beginning that these characters are fucked up.

Read "Here and There and Us" first! Hoo my god. I've waited for this one for a looong time. I truly think that the prequel ended in a perfect place, but this one provided a welcome insight of what transpired between our boys before they got together, and how they navigate the new dynamic of their relationship. I love, love their conversations, the natural progression of friends becoming lovers and the general cozy vibe of the manga. It's such a slow and comforting read, definitely still a favorite for me.

TW: abusive family, violence

This here is a fine specimen of my guilty pleasure read. Gotta admit that the character development is lacking, there's little to no plot, and the dubcon at the start is pretty iffy, but it has all the tropes i'm so fkn weak for. Two hot MCs? Check. Rivals to lovers? Check. Good banter? Check. Manly bonding through adversity? Check! So yep, that's a four star from me.

Dgmw, the original novel is freaking great (it's by the danmei goddess WuZhe herself, i'm begging you to please PLEASE read the novel you won't regret it) but tbh the art and panelling make it hard to follow. Update: im once again Begging everyone that sees this to go read the novel, seriously, this manhua does no justice to it.
