Stand By Me (ebara Tomoe)
It was okay. It end abruptly and the characters talk funny, almost as if they had a southern accent. You don't feel any sort of connection between the characters. They don't even end the story with them together, they never have mutual feelings. Then the blonde guy just likes the dark-haired guy because he is nice.
Hanabatake to Wakarebanashi
The first story is my favorite, but sadly, it was the shortest of the two. I was hoping to see more of those characters. This is why I'm rating it 4 stars. The first story was about childhood friends, a group of three, two guys one girl. The girl gets a boyfriend and then that leaves the other two on their own. The blonde guy liked the girl and he had thought that she liked him back. The two go out to eat and he starts crying after his friend asks "you liked her didn't you?" On their walk home, the dark haired guy tells the guy that he has sauce in his hair. He goes to get it out, but starts ruffling his hair, asking, "when are you going to realize?" The uke (blonde) asks "that i have sauce in my hair?" "When are you going to realize that I like you" and a train passes while he gives the uke a kiss on the cheek and it makes the uke blush. From there, the uke deals with his emotions, trying to figure out what he feels. After the confession, they continue as normal, until the seme says that he's waiting for an answer. This causes the uke to panic and he starts to avoid the seme. The uke leaves school early i believe, because he wants to avoid seme and avoid having to give him an answer. He runs under a playground hut when it starts to rain and lightning strikes. The seme finds him, telling him that he was worried. There, under the hut, the seme and uke express how they are feeling, the seme saying he likes him and the uke asking "why me?" When the seme tells him he likes him, the uke says "say that to a girl". The two kiss and the uke says that hes going to get hooked. I think that this happens after this, but the seme gets sick and the uke tries to tell the seme that he likes him for the first time, but his family comes home and interrupts. I think that is how the story concludes. The second one didnt interest me that much. The couple was already together and they are going through a fight. The one guys younger step brother helps them make up. I kind of skimmed this one after like the first chapter.
Okaeri Aureole
It's been awhile since I have read anything on here and this is what I picked it back up with. I watched skip and loafer with dev and kel and I wanted to see if the manga was on here and I saw the same author also wrote a BL that looked and sounded to be one of my favorite kinds; simple, relaxing, and realistic. I really enjoyed reading this in the work closet during my breaks.
Uchi no Ouji Irimasen ka
This was so cute. This one that I am reading when coming back to this site and I was not disappointed I love these types of manga. Simple, sweet, but good characters that are fleshed out enough that I can feel the chemistry and connection. I really enjoyed reading this at work on break whilst eating a bunch of crackers.
Yamete Kudasai, Mabushii Desu.
This story was so freaking cute. I love how it's not super long, but long enough that you get to know the characters well. I loved the buildup/ the realizations the Characters have. This story was well fleshed out and was so enjoyable. Gonna have to add this to my favorites list.
