A villain is only a villain because no one tells the story seen from his point of view. I'm speechless, either for art or for the fact that Charles-Henri Sanson actually existed. Until then I did not have the knowledge of his existence and knowing that he hated this "job" made me even more sensitive. He's innocent...

It's not an easy read, I've lost the hope I had in humanity. (Speechless)

My first contact with this work was through the anime. I remember wanting to live within that story, now reading the manga I'm sure I'd love to live here. <3

I'm angry at myself that it took me so long to read this amazing manga. Everything here is well written. And being part of the lgbt+ community, made me doubly sensitive.
