Smoky Nectar
I really liked this. I like the possessiveness and the uke is not annoying.
Renai Saido
5/5. Omg I loved this! Even more than the first story I think. The first one was more wholesome and cutesy. This one is wholesome and cutesy too but not in the same feel. The seme is a green flag and there is consent. I thought the uke was pretty funny and their dynamic overall just fit together well. He fell first and harder. The Uke, Ayumu, had a crush on a boy who he thought was cute in elementary. His crush moved on with the seme’s friend. He regrets and wants to better himself. The Seme, Tsubame, saves him and they become close and feelings blossom.
Don't Mess With the Puppy!
Made it to ch 35. 3.75/5. So far really like the story it was fast paced a cute. I heard that it’s based off a novel, and that the novels solves the problem move, where in the manwha the kinda just go away. Anyways it kinda felt insta lovey, but seeing their interactions in ch33 was so cute. I love the animal characteristics and I’ve never read a manwha where a casino is the main place of work. I like the uke. he’s a cute little fighter dog with a big personality, but he’s kinda naive. The seme was fun too. I like how he adores the uke and finds everything that the uke does cute, even when the uke hostile. It’s crazy though how the seme in a cannibal
I Stole The Male Lead's First Night
3.25/5. This was a pretty funny and cute, quick and easy read! It was nothing deep and followed the cliche plot that isekai romance manwha usually follow. I thought that Ripley was a hilarious, mischievous protagonist who had her own flaws. The ML is the usual cold Duke who only has a soft spot for Ripley, but I will say I like how emotional he is and how you know that he loves Ripley unconditionally. I like that the original FL is a good person who Ripley becomes friends with. Ripley maid was pretty funny as well. While most of the manwha was funny and light hearted there were some pretty high suspense, dramatic parts that I found relieving because I was kinda finding it boring at some parts. The main plot point I didn’t like was when Ripley tried to lie to the ML about being hurt because I really felt like she was being dumb and it was just kinda brushed over. Love how Ripley is not afraid to express her love to Zeronis, and I love how he looks at her as if he adores her. It is kinda annoying how long it took them to complete the wedding. I’m glad that Ripley got closure about staying in that world. I read this entire thing waiting for their kids but the kids only appeared for a couple pages at the end, in a dream! Ripley sleeps with the Duke and he forces her into a relationship because she took his first time. She creates trouble trying to get out of the eventual marriage but ends up facing her fears and falling in love. But instead of living happily ever after, the villains appear and disrupt their wedding. Eventually the do get their happily ever after, when Ripley isn’t dipping her nose into other people’s business and solving their problems.
Surge Looking For You
3/5. I liked this, but only because of the omegaverse with a baby, and because of the pretty art. First of all, these characters kinda confused me. Like I couldn’t tell is yi rim was shy or outgoing. I couldn’t tell if Cheong ho was mean or nice. I personally didn’t think he was mean but it was implied that other characters thought he was mean to yi rim, when he was just setting the boundaries that they both agreed to. I think what most confused me was that it was so insta lovey on yi rims side, and I don’t even get why he fell in love, was it because cheong ho saved him and then they did it? Like I know it was consensual but you literally don’t know each other, make it make sense. This had almost everything that I like in an omegaverse, but it just didn’t fit to me. I like when yi rim ran away and made the seme worry (even though in my opinion the seme didn’t deserve it), but why did he run away like five times? The poor seme, wa basically forced into a relationship and when he finally starts to have feelings the bottom feels bad and runs away. Why??? He’s a grown man who can make his own decisions, trust me, your not forcing him! Also I though these characters were closed to their 30’s, but to me they felt like teenagers, so when I found out their barely over 20 years old I was surprised. I also felt like yi rim seemed older than the seme. It’s a solid omegaverse story with consent, but it isn’t amazing in my opinion. Cheong ho also Demi Dee me of bakugo in the beginning. This story is about two athletes who have a one night stand together, except that the uke makes a proposition to keep sleeping together since the seme needs him and the uke likes him. Eventually the seme realizes he likes the uke but the uke runs away with his baby and quits his job. He finds uke and takes care of him, but uke runs away again when he finds out that the seme also quit his job to focus on the uke. Idk man just a lot of unnecessary drama I can’t get behind. Their baby is so cute, and my favorite side story is the one about yi-hos day in the life.
Bloody Sweet
4.5/5. This manhwa was so good! The first story ark was my favorite because personally I found it to be more meaningful. I felt for Naerim on a personal level and even saw some parts of myself in her. This author has made a good depiction of bullying, specifically in Korean high schools. None of the bullying was fair or deserved but kids spin things in their own ways that justify their actions, and even make them feel powerful for them. I hated Hina with my whole soul. She was one of the most insufferable antagonists I’ve ever read about personally because she was just a horrible person. She didn’t have a sad backstory she was just a spoiled brat who manipulated people into doing things for her. I’m sad she didn’t face worse consequences but I’m happy she had no redemption ark. On top of the bullying Naerim delt with an absent mom and her only support system was a vampire using her for her blood. The second ark was more centered around fetechous past and focused more on the romance. In the romance department of this story, I wish we got more of it because that is a driving factor in the story. I get that they cared for each other so much that they don’t need to be together romantically, even though they want to be, but I just like romance and wish there was more of it. For fetechou I wish he verbalized how much he cares for naerim to her face. Honestly I liked fetechou, he was funny and sweet but idk, I just wish we got more from him.Now for the other two protagonists… I kinda liked Roxana just as much as I hated her. I like the nuances of her personality. She has been wronged by people her entire mortal life. She was called a witch, abused and raped just because of the family she was born into which is sad. I support her getting revenge on humans, just like I supported fetechous revenge, but she just never quit. Her hate for humanity made her the abuser that she hates. Laszlo is just there, he supports Roxana but he honestly isn’t much of an antagonist. He’s not progressive enough. But I think that Sammi becoming his master at the end was funny. Sammi was a funny little cutie. Naerim was so cute with her reactions. I guess the things that are stopping this from becoming a five star is the ending just didn’t really hit for me and I kinda feel like there were some loose ends we could have talked about more. Also why’d jina have to show up right after we finally got rid of her, ew. Also what happened to the priest dude that worked at the school?! I also wish they’d talk about naerim and fetechous self harm, but they just glossed over it. Also the authors side stories were a little weird. I think that it’s a good thing fetechou never had to follow Roxana’s orders when she was still a witch because he would feel 10x worse with all the shit she’d make him do. And finally, the last couple of pages to this story, on the beach, had me balling my eyes out. Omg, it was so bittersweet. That last part was definitely my favorite part of the whole story. Naerim is horribly bullied in high school and have no support systems since her mom is absent. One day she goes on a trip where she meets a vampire and ends up making a contract with him. In exchange for her blood he protects her, but they quickly grow closer and he helps Martin’s with her mental health and surviving high school. After naerims conquer of her bullies she becomes a shaman like her mom and is happyish but fetechou still wants to become human, in order to die. Naerim and fetechou confront villains from his past and he decides he is brave and loves naerim so much he wants to stay with her until she dies. Also this has one of my least favorite tropes which is when the ml goes behind the fls back and works/sides/gives into the antagonist(specifically one who wants the ml romantically) just to save the fl. Then everything gets resolved and they never really talk about it.
Melted by the Young CEO's Sweet, Intense Love
3.75/5 ig? Idk I liked it but it’s clear the story was made just for the smut. But the smut was just teasing. Honestly if this storyline was expanded I would really like it. I love a puppy ml and oblivious fl. Girl gets hired by ml at run down business. She helps his shape up and the business thrives. He wants reward and licks her. He gos on trip and a rumor starts that get the fl jealous. She quits and he gets frustrated and follows her home. They make up and say they love each other. That’s it. That’s the story.
