It's been years since I've read this but I still remember most of it like it was yesterday. It's a sobering experience to read as a preteen. Definitely one of my all-time favourites...

Soda-sensei has done it again. The way he captures emotions is incredibly wondrous. Additionally, his storylines never fail to captivate. ︎Note: Volume 8, Chapter 4 hasn't been uploaded. You can look up 'Chapter 27' on Google...

A detail oriented and beautifully drawn tale of a young man's journey to find what life holds for him and in the process, finds himself instead. Breathtakingly masterful, artwise and storywise...I don't have enough thumbs to show my appreciation and adoration. Thank you, Inoue-sensei.

Pave the way for the self-proclaimed genius, Hanamichi Sakuragi! This aggressive redhead is about to make his mark on the jungle that the ball court could be... Admittedly talented, this not-so-bright rookie will have to hack his way through the long and increasingly arduous path to the end of the court. ᕦ(✧≖ ʖ̯≖)ᕥ I absolutely adore this MC... an all-time favourite character of mine.

Just as striking as the anime, if not more so. I love, loved it!!! But I just had to live in a country where securing licensed and/or physical copies of any manga is harder than acing college exams. ( ノAヽ )

Incredibly raw and powerful.

This is not your usual baseball manga, this is more psychological than it is a sport manga. Remains true to its byline; "Nobody wins but I". An intelligent read that's endlessly beguiling.

Now here's a story I've long been in love with... It's been ten years but I'm still smitten. I was so into the anime I watched all six seasons, the OVAs, and the specials. And yet, I needed more!!! I now find myself reading the manga months after the release of a new NY movie. 。+゜(*´>艸<｀*)。+゜
