saibinu Well-Known Member Spoiler: Spoiler...Spoiler...Spoiler!!! Company: Seongwon Group Owner: President Shin Adoptive daughter: Shin Se-ra Wife: Ms. Song (Shin Se-ra and Han Jia's biological mother) Director: Baek Ji-hwan ((Shin Serah and Han Jia's uncle) Older brother - Unnamed (Shin Serah and Han Jia's biological father - deceased) Protagonists: Shin Se-Ra (Sarah) - twin sister's Han-Jia Han-Jia (Jiah) - twin sister's Shin Se-Ra - MC Ally: Lee Ro-Woon - ML Antagonists: Palseon (taoist-shaman) Seon-Kyung Lee (fake heroine - spiritualist and disciple of the shaman) Summary: Palseon is a Taoist shaman who has wormed his way into President Shin's good graces as a sort of spiritual advisor. In fact, he is an extremely greedy and evil person who also has always hated President Shin. Palseon encouraged Ms. Song to commit adultery with Baek Ji-Hwan's handsome brother who was ambitious, aspiring and unscrupulous. Palseon made a false prediction to Ms. Song. If the twins stay together, they will be happy, but everything around them will be destroyed. If they separate, then everyone else will be saved. Ms. Song summoned Director Baek and ordered him to kill one of the girls, if she was his niece anyway. Baek was shocked at the request. Director Baek couldn't raise Jiah. Because if it was revealed that she was alive, Ms. Song might have her killed by someone else, or ask her father, Director Baek's brother, to kill her. Since the brother couldn't be trusted, as he was obsessed with the woman, Baek put Jiah in an orphanage and became an anonymous sponsor for his beloved niece. The problem was that the orphanage was not registered, and the management embezzled the funds necessary for the children's care from the state. To eliminate evidence, they set the orphanage on fire. When Director Baek found out, he rushed there, but the little girl was nowhere to be found. The state relocated the surviving children to other legal orphanages. Jiah grew up there, completed university on a scholarship, and bought her first apartment (this is already known, as the manhwa opened with this in the first chapter). Sarah's life wasn't easy either. She became a target for Palseon, performing exorcisms and curse removals for children of wealthy families, which she transferred to other innocent and unsuspecting children. Secretly hating President Shin and his family, the shaman saw it as a great opportunity to torture the little girl while pocketing huge sums from other families. At this time, the family of Seon-Kyung Lee appeared with their little girl. Seon could see the spirits that constantly haunted and tormented her, and the shaman also felt extreme malice emanating from the girl. Palseon devised another evil plan, introduced the two girls, Seon and Sarah, to each other, and then told Seon's parents that he could cure their daughter's problem, but he would need to transfer her curse to another child, which could drive the sacrificial child insane. The parents didn't care about the other child; they just wanted their own to be healthy. Seon even requested that Sarah be the sacrificial child because she didn't like her face. Palseon performed the ritual. Sarah became ill for a week, and when she recovered, her personality had completely changed. She became violent, had fits of rage, and turned cruel. Inside, she suffered because she knew how vile her actions and behavior were, but she couldn't stop it. The curse had taken hold, preventing her from acting otherwise. At this point, Jiah fell ill at work and collapsed, then fell into a coma because she felt her sister's mental anguish, who wanted to commit suicide. Their souls switched bodies in the spiritual realm. Jiah ended up in Sarah's body. Since their souls were swapped, the curse broke and returned to Seon, the false heroine of the drama. While in a coma, Jiah relived a certain form of her post-orphanage life in the spiritual realm. During this time, she watched her sister's life in the form of a TV drama. Jiah uncovered step-by-step the past of both her sister and herself, finding out who the real antagonists were: Palseon the shaman, Ms. Song their own mother, and Seon the heroine. Seon refused to accept that the curse had broken and returned to her, so she kidnapped Jiah, thinking she was Sarah, to perform the curse ritual again, but the police rescued her with the help of the ML (Lee Ro-Woon). Jiah discovered that Palseon had performed countless perverse curse rituals on children and tortured them with delight. Jiah took revenge on the three individuals. When her revenge was fulfilled, the twins regained consciousness in their own bodies. The epilogue revealed what happened to the guilty parties. Palseon was convicted of multiple counts of child abuse, rape, fraud, attempted murder, and kidnapping (Sarah). Seon admitted her guilt in the charges of kidnapping and attempted murder. Ms. Song was given an ultimatum by President Shin: either divorce him or leave the country and never return to Korea or seek out the girls again. President Shin continued to recognize Sarah as his lawful heir. Jiah accepted Director Baek as her uncle. Sarah received absolution from her sister for the evil deeds committed under the curse and returned to her old friendly and kind personality. President Shin allowed her to resign from her vice-presidential position, and she now manages a small subsidiary of the conglomerate, where the stress is low, the atmosphere is calm, and the staff is friendly. The twins adore each other. Jiah is in a relationship with Ro-Woon. Spoiler: Jiah's Investigation and Sarah and Jiah's Touching Moment Jiah started investigating because Palseon and Seon became suspicious to her. Events occurred that suggested Palseon and Seon knew each other and were even closely connected. (Although I don't know how, because I didn't read that part.) What I have told summarizes the final events from episode 112 onwards. Jiah started investigating and discovered the existence of her twin sister, leading her to the hospital where Sarah, in Jiah's body, was lying in a coma. This completely overwhelmed her, and she vowed to take revenge on everyone who had even a small part in Sarah’s and her own suffering. Jiah took Director Baek to the hospital, who was shocked that Jiah/Sarah had discovered the truth and found her sister. During one of the hospital visits, Seon (if I remember correctly) attacked Jiah in the hospital parking lot and stabbed her. Jiah then fell into a coma and met Sarah on the spiritual world. Sarah wanted to leave everything and everyone behind because she was exhausted, but she was very happy to finally see her sister. When she was about to cross over to the afterlife, Jiah ran after her and embraced her, not allowing her to give up on life, as there was no longer any reason to. Now she had Jiah herself, and they would always be there for each other and could rely on each other in everything. The two girls cried at this moment. Spoiler from CUEBEE5566 Fiance - Like I said I hated him at first but in the end he was the best choice out of the three ML. He was the first person who actually found out she isn't the real Sera and Spoiler I really love the part where FL finally faced the truth, that she wasn't transmigrated into a drama but switched soul with the real Sera. And Fiancée was the only one who was there with her, she was afraid he will think she is crazy for confessing that but in the end he said he was already aware she is not the Sera that he knew. I was touched with the part where he asked her "so what is your real name" and she said "Jia Han" and cried because finally someone knew who she is, she is a real person and not crazy or wandering soul. And he just hugged her. He was also shocked to hear the truth but at that time he was more worried about her. He accompanied her when visiting the shaman, visiting her real body in hospital and everywhere related to her, he was the one who supported her the most during those times So I really love him. I really wish he was the ML. And I also didn't like his design in the manhwa, because in the novel he was supposed to be hot, manly hot - even MC had a hard time and had to remind herself of Sera's relationship with him not to get swayed by him every time he was close to her because yes, he was hot. Serphinalily Well-Known Member Eeron not actually son of chairman: By the way, I don't think Eeron was ever the adopted son of the chairman... The group originally had two co-chairmen. Chairman Shin is the father of our FL (not really cause of the mom cheating issue) and the other Chairman was Eeron's father. The other Chairman died off screen maybe 10+ years before the story starts and Eeron was taken in as a ward (his mother hid him before his father's death because she's just as twisted in love as Eeron and didn't want to lose the only token of her love to a man who never came back). Also, Chairman Shin is gay and was in love with his co-chairman (so take what you want from that and how that may inform your understanding of the mom's paranoia and gradual mental decline). CUEBEE5566 IF EVIL, WHY HOT? EPITHE11 said: ↑ And about the swapp body, everyone will know? I know that ML will know but what's about the two others MLs? And the bitch? Parents? Yes. The first one to know is the fiance since he is the one who helped her talk to the Shaman..and I honestly love that scene. He said, he always felt like she was a different person. And he was the first person to ask her what is her real name and he just hugged her. Next, she confessed it to Eeron - but Eeron doubted her at first and then the question "so whom did I fell for?" - because FL said, the reason Eeron was able to like her easily was because she used Sera's past about being incompetent in the eyes of her parents, so Eeron was able to relate and understand(along with his inferiority complex towards Sera) so FL managed to manipulate his feelings. But later on, he said it doesn't matter who she was, even if she was just crazy and having delusions then he will just go crazy with her. He said at least he is sure he didn't fell for her looks "Sera is too beautiful which also added to my insecurities " - anyways later on he found out they were twins when he visited FL's real body. The last to find out was Seo Jong - FL didn't tell him, he only told him later on after she returned to her OG body and Seo Jeong said, somehow he felt it was like that because he wasn't interested in real Sera but his eyes kept following her. Only FL, Sera, Manager Baek, Shaman, 3 ML knew. - Sera's parents didn't know, so when Eeron asked for permission to marry FL, Chairman was against it - :he almost destroyed himself for Sera and now suddenly he wants to marry her twin?"
