Jay's manga / #Reencounter(15)

From the art style to the story to the character development, this manga is a work of art. It had me sobbing, smiling, and gasping over how utterly beautiful it is. I put off reading it because I was worried that it would be too sad, and while it did break me at times, the sweet moments and love that Chinatsu and Kasumi have for each other made the pain worth it. I wish I read it sooner.

Stories about gamers are so fun, and this is definitely one of my favorites! It’s fast paced but enjoyable from start to finish. Seto and Kujou are so sweet together. I just love them!

The first story is heartbreaking, but it’s also warm and beautiful. I’m so glad that Maki and Katsumi found each other again, and that, even after getting rejected in such a painful way years ago, Maki was able to move past that and give Katsumi the comfort and love he deserves. As for the included one shot, I really liked it! Daiya and Yusuke are really sweet together, and I’d love to see more of them. (I’d love to see more of both couples ;;) *used the “multiple stories” tag as a divider between the two stories’ tags.

What an emotional rollercoaster. There are so many twists and turns that I never knew what to expect. I loved all of it, even the sad moments. Both Akamine's and Utsumi's traumas are a big focus, and they were done so well, including the way they affected them and their relationship. And despite all that, I'm so happy things worked out for them :')

The only reason why I gave it an 8 instead of a 9 is that it’s not long enough. I would’ve loved to get more backstory and cute moments at the end. I still really enjoyed it though. Umesawa and Haze butt heads throughout the story, but from the start, there’s undeniable sexual tension between them. They’re a great match. I can’t wait to see what Yagou writes next!
