huh. there's no real conflict in the plot. i guess you could even say the plot revolved around hajoon's (ML) character development, though sodam (MC) was stagnant in that regard. pretty solid background stories for all characters but the author never utilized it. still, i liked the story... surprisingly... lmao ! (i wished MC ended up with liam instead though. i wouldve rated it four stars, then LMAO but i'm good with hajoon as it is.)

i'm always gonna eat up the idol x bodyguard trope oh it's is just SAUR CUUUUTE very pretty art, too! edit: gave this a reread and idk how it was possible but it was even cuter than when i've read it the first time, so i've decided to give it full stars!

objectively speaking, this BL is not something i would consider "great" or "life-changing". but did i enjoy it? ABSOLUTELY. the characters have a certain kind of allure to them that really hooked me in. maybe it was also the contrast in their personalities that added to the appeal—i don't know; I LOVE THEM!

my thoughts: 1) here we go again with the "trauma / mental illness gets cured by true love" plot 2) the author really just had to make a backstory for the gang-rape, huh? like are we supposed to feel bad for the ex? WE DGAF! MC's ex is still a RAPIST! an IRREEDEMABLE, UNJUSTIFIABLE rapist !!! he should've been thrown into prison and left to rot !!!!!

skipped chapters 65-90 but otherwise still a beautifully written and well-drawn manhwa.
