PUNKS△TRIANGLE
holy shit i love the art. the plot is your typical idol-with-hidden-identity x fan, but i love the way fashion was integrated into the story. i think this is an interest that is very personal to the author because i could feel the authenticity, and "punk" as a subculture was not reduced to a mere aesthetic concept. on another note, the characters are fleshed out enough, but the romance not so much. a few extra chapters could fix that, though (wink wink volume 2 please) also it's just my taste but i prefer enaga more than ai by a long mile. LMAO they're the same person but like. enaga is just hotter bro idk
Sukebe no Seishun
this was so adorably unserious lmao. 3.7 stars
Furimuite tsukamaete
they're so fucking cute i need to explode also this author's art style is one of my favorites. it's so expressive and pretty
New World Lovetopia
fascinating world building! my only gripe is that the romance feels too rushed. it would've been better if it was spread out over two volumes. makes the development more believable that way.
Choose Only Me!
this manga cured my depression, cleared my skin, watered my crops, corrected my vision, hydrated me, fed me and my dog, paid my bills, brightened the sky, and showed me that love is real. i am no longer suicidal LIFE IS GOOD AND THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFUL on a serious note holy shit what is that godly writing? that amazing art? the chemistry and the sexual tension??? it's hitting all the right spots in my brain i'm getting so much serotonin from how well-made this manga is
Sugar Glazed Darling
wait AHAHAHAHHA hold on i was initially so skeptical after reading chapter 1 because there's so many things that could go wrong (i.e. angst, melodrama) with the cross-dressing trope, but NOPE. this was actually so freaking hilarious. the main couple is so entertaining to watch i couldn't stop ijboling at their antics TT 4.9 stars!!
Candy YumYum
waitttt they're so funny and cute ??? and even if this was a smutfest the writing is still good??? i love that. UPDATE PLEASEEEEE
Gunjou no Subete
this was unexpectedly poignant and melancholic. the writing was effortless—good flow and pacing, excellent delivery, and a prose so crisp and pithy i had to take a moment of silence just to let everything sink in. because wow. i've never felt pain this good before. i wish we had a volume two or at least a side story. i'd like to see them as proper boyfriends this time!
