A quiet, slice of life manga about a boy who goes out with whomever asks, but only for one week. Then one day he gets asked out on impulse by another boy. They try dating but don’t take it seriously at first, but overtime they both don’t want to let go of the other. I watched the live action movie before I read this. I was surprised how loyal the movie was to the manga.

Wonderful! Beautifully drawn with a well-paced, emotional story. Kamikura is going through a rough patch when local florist, Handa, helps him after hitting a pole and falling in poop. Handa asks him out but Kamikura has never been in a relationship with a man and is spooked. Handa gets sick though, and Kamikura can’t help but to look after him and eventually falling for him. Not everything ends there though, they have their share of insecurities and couple issues to work through. I loved this whole thing, even the sex scenes were beautiful.

Pretty good, though kind of ordinary. Medical supplies salaryman has to visit a vet often for business and gets harassed by the animals a lot. When having to change his clothes because of an animal he ends up admitting to the vet that he’s gay. The vet eventually ends up asking him out but the salaryman has been hurt in the past and tries to keep the vet at an arm’s length. I did like that the uke salaryman wasn’t drawn very femininely and was pretty strong-willed. I would’ve liked more softer emotions from both characters though.

This was really good. This manga is about 3 couples, all connected with a bakery. The first couple is about a couple high school boys. One gets a part time job there to buy something for his secret crush, meanwhile his best friend is getting lonely. The second couple is about a couple of salarymen. One is a childhood friend of the bakery's owner, Watari, and the two salaryment go to it all the time for lunch. Watari notices that the one salaryman is in love with his old friend, and they become close because Watari gives him advice. The childhood friend salaryman notices and becomes jealous. The third couple is about Watari and his lover, who returns after 6 years apart. He'd left thinking he'd become a better man, to be able to compete in a way with Watari. He starts to work a the bakery but as he wishes to stay with Watari more and more he becomes distracted at work, making mistakes. When Watari sends him home, after a near-dangerous accident the lover wonders if he should leave and they FINALLY have a heart to heart and get things off their chests. All the couples were really good in this manga.

Baker Uno and writer Sakai were a couple until Uno fell and lost his memory. Sakai tried to let him go so that Uno can live a “normal” life and have kids, but Uno can’t leave him alone, unknowingly falling in love with him all over again. This was a pretty emotional read with a cute end!

Really cute, pleasant read! Mizuno works at a design company and has a crush on a guy in the neighboring building, whom he can see through the window. By chance, he ends up sharing a table in a restaurant one lunch with the guy, Atsushi, and they begin to get to know each other. Mizuno discovers that Atsushi has secretly loved him for 10 years, since he was in high school and working in a convenience store. So sweet. Then there’s a cute chapter about Mizuno’s coworker Yoshimura, who falls immediately for a straight salaryman named Kunieda. He’s already scared to confess when he sees Kunieda wearing a wedding ring for the first time. Kunieda just uses it to deter women, though, and has already fallen for Yoshimura. Another cute story!

Home (TSUYUKI Yuruko)

Complete | Tsuyuki yuruco | 2018 released

So sweet. Gloomy author is visited by an exploring little kid who just can't leave him alone. Overtime the author becomes more attached to the kid until he misses him when he's gone. They're seperated when the boy moves overseas, but the boy promises to return one day and they keep in touch over the years until that time. This was really nice for age gap story. I hope there's another chapter of them being cute together!
