I read "Shade Captor" because I really like "Circle" of the same author but this one's quite lacking as if it's not completed yet and some MCs are disturbing. With complicated storyline adds up to some lost in translation, no wonder most reader don't get it. I leave summary in details here with hope that the author will make the sequel so I can catch up w/o re-read all.. -- [[May Spoil]] -- Story of people who have some sort of supernatural power.. Both twins Wei(light) & Xiao(shadow) got equal power from mom but the evil kid, Xiao tried to take Wei's power which made Wei slept for few years, neither dead nor alive. Not long after Wei woke up with some memory loss, Xiao burnt their parents then ran away[Ch.24, Ch.40]. The orphan Wei had stayed with uncle, aunt who hates him & cousin Mi-Sheng for 10 years. BTW When Xiao's hunted by parents, injured & hiding in the forest, Mi-Sheng saved him [Ch.39] makes Xiao truely love Mi-Sheng whom loves Wei. ➽ Feng's raped by the teacher entire high school time which caused false bad rumor about him & got no friend.[Ch.32-4] Only new student Xiao approached him[Ch.23] with ulterior motive to find out about Shaurice & the gang who's like a hero that fight demon to save the world. Xiao later faked his death then escape. Feng truly loves Xian has looked for Xiao & blames himself. ➽ A pair of Shaurice & Richard looks promising but their relationship is pain in the ass as Richard can't accept Shaurice's feeling but also can't leave him then just keeps trying to date gals. It's terribly messed up when Mary said she pregnant though Richard wore condom[Ch.19]. Apparently Mi-Sheng made contract with demon to get Wei. Later the demon starts taking over him and tries to kill Wei[Ch.27-8] adds up to how Wei refuses him[Ch.29-30]. Mi-Sheng despair to the point of suicide.[Ch.35] Xiao tries to kill both Wei & Feng but fails [Ch.40] so he just places a shadow on Misheng's dead body, makes him like a living doll, no memories nor feelings. ➽ It's irritating that after knowing all truth, Feng still loves Xiao & sleeps with Wei as substitute. Ending as the new game just starts. Marax disguises to be Feng's bro to fool & kills his parents. Xiao's gonna cooperate with Marax to mess the world in exchange for resurrecting Mi-Sheng.
