Seven Days
this is so beautiful blooming boys in youth, discovering what it means to truly fall in love, and how important it is to 'remain in love'.. loving every parts of your partner, discovering things about him everyday.. and still enjoy the time you spend with him.. choosing that person every time. aw man struck my heart what i learned (since i really haven't fallen in love myself.. is love isn't rocket science. you just tend to accept the person for who he is.) and yeah i agree with the comment. he should've put a distance with that shino girl (though they can't help seeing each other since she's his brother's girlfriend) and that's it? his brother didn't find out?
Inner Beauty
rollercoaster of emotions. i laughed, cried, had butterflies in my stomach, but ultimately the story came out with a beautiful writing. i can't believe i relate to woochan and his dad's relationship (except my dad is not a womanizer) and their reconciliation make me reflect on some things. their love story is soooo wholesome, fluff, and healthy! these are the kind of stories that i would really love if there's explicit smut in it, because they deserved it, and if they're doing it it's because they gave the proper vibe of two people in love. i'm shocked that they're actually like jack and rose from titanic (damn still hits me) but another thing i love in this story is that it didn't came out so much problematic. i thought joowon will be the biggest obstacle, along with the teacher. but nope. it was stated in the ending why they didn't use him as a plot device (though i would still like it to release some massive tension, imagine two guys getting in the way on the two instead of a delusional ex girlfriend. tbh she should've just get it on with the 18 year old occultist, she's such a mood and her money grubber tendencies along with her grandma would suit her gag character. she is actually have the potential to be a winger, but she wasted that. i blame the author
Nevermore
daamn I forgot about this! this story is action packed. good side characters and good chemistry among two main leads. smut is good.
Souei Sousho
last read: chapter 19 oh my gosh, kansei is burning up. i'm glad he's going to return to his shadow now. full review: for some reason, the storyline is very similar to shounen oujo, except it contain a shadow concept. i am already anticipating the crown prince's death, but it turns out he became a jiangshi (good thing they didn't kill him off, i'd really throw a fit here) but now shou has to act as the next emperor! oh my gosh. i'm getting ecstastic. but you know, i already have a hunch that shou is related to the royal family. look how identical he is to kansei! and he is adept to learn the skills a prince should natural to have. i'm sure there's more to his birth than what the plot showed. maybe they're twins? or maybe he's a prodigal (a son of the red light district) if that's the case then it would make more sense why he's not scared of the emperor (aside from another fact that he just got accustomed to different kinds of people due to the environment he grew up with) in terms of the mc's character, i admire him very much. his dedicated attitude and innocent playfulness. he didn't take it all to his head (like i should be sad because of my circumstances blah blah blah so i shouldn't care about other people bullshit) the way he cared for everyone around him, especially his father the emperor. i liked how clumsy he is. i also liked how they portrayed the crown prince, he's not overtly insensitive and cold like typical brats in shoujo/josei manga. i love their brotherly bond. hope there's no romance. the least i wanted to see is a tsundere girl with anger issues or a damsel in distress possessive and useless acting like a sister so he can join the troupe
Planet of Wheat
Kirakira-kun to Imaichi-kun
it's good, they're no nonsense couple. little to fast paced but my issue lies upon the misunderstanding. not too much angst, and i felt like uke really didn't put up much effort for kasawagi to show him he really likes him. and about kashiwagi, i hate that he's willing to give up that easily once he felt he wasn't needed. like, dude. aren't you the one who pushed himself to him? you're into him right? also, i don't think kasawagi really still have feelings with his senpai. it's like old reminiscing, except he was oblivious to the fact that uke might take it the wrong way. it makes sense, because the guy that he knew is always going with the flow and doesn't fuss up anything. basically he thought sharing a bit of his past relationships is harmless. but no, but they got to resolve that so what's the problem?
Silver Jewel
