But it's great to be able to have it on paper, too.

Hana and Ikuun are back in a bit of a screwball comedy! Ikkun's insensitivity causes some fights with Hana, whose desire to take care of Ikkun surpasses practicality. When Ikkun takes a part-time tutoring job and gets involved with the young son of a yakuza boss intent on seducing him, Hana comes to his rescue. These two continue to be a delight. Tsubaki befriends them and spends more time with Azuma, who makes him realize how lonely he is and begins to fill that gap, holding his hand when they walk drunkely through the streets, and inviting him over when Tsubaki is feeling down. But when Azuma kisses him, Tsubaki has to evaluate his feelings.

Sequel to "Memory of the Future," which I read second because I didn't realize. Two teachers in an established relationship deal with family pressure and charge into the future together.

Past!me said, "The art is pretty, but there wasn't much relationship development or emotional impact." Maybe she'd had a bad day. On re-read, this was really cute. The main story: Friends of 15 years get together when one is threatened with an arranged marriage, leading the other to confess. Opens with the side story of the cute shop attendant being eyed up by the MC. There’s a third story that’s pretty bland but fine. The main couple shows up again in the epilogue.
