note: we are ignoring chapter 5 cause it was a different story completely storyline: this guy starts letting his best friend, who he has a crush on, borrow his apartment for him to fuck his girlfriend. it's such a sorry situation, the guy's neighbour (who's a fuckboy) invites him over to fuck, ad feelings ensue. some pining and misunderstandings, love that for us. reaction: this really pulled at my heartstrings, the moment the guy misunderstands that the neighbour has someone else over......... immaculate angst.

storyline: the guy has been in love with his childhood friend since forever, and when that friend gets into an accident and his parents need money to pay for the medical bills, he steps in and becomes a stripper to make lots of money and help them. of course, the friend finds out reaction: kinda cute, has a positive outlook on sex work which is a plus.

storyline: a kindergarten teacher who loves sex and fucks dudes he finds on an app while he's in disguise. until the day one of the guys he meets is actually the (straight) uncle of one of the kids he teaches, and starts pursuing the teacher. it's so cute and their relationship builds really naturally. reaction: the angst that is inherently attached to one of the characters being originally straight... man it never gets old... also WOW the kids he taught really grew up to be boyfriends i LOVE THIS

storyline: being yohan realizes his senior, park mugyeong, likes another guy, lee junseo, and decides to tell mugyeong he’s being obvious. this leads to an unexpected friendship where yohan tries to help mugyeong out with his crush, but ultimately backfires as yohan ends up developing feelings for his hyung. review: this was lovely omg and also yuri?? yuri’s relationship with yohan??? i love these idiots (i didn’t read the side stories and apparently it’s a good thing i didn’t)

storyline: a spinoff of “for your love” where kwon yuri, yohan’s best friend, is a college student who is “in love” with his adopted sister (distant cousin whose parents died and was taken in by yuri’s family), and meets his former teacher, lee seonwoo, at his sister’s wedding. mr. lee is a fucking wreck, drunk and sobbing, and yuri realized he was pining over the groom as mr. lee made a move on yuri. the story unfolds very messily from then on. review: i LOVED yuri’s character in “for your love” but i’m glad we delved a little deeper into it in this story. i really believe yuri has bpd from the way he behaves, his upbringing, and every thought he has. glad his relationship with seonwoo seems to work but i wish their dynamic didn’t seem so volatile. also yohan and yuri’s friendship still makes me cackle every time, i love them so much.

storyline: junwon loves minsoo and will do anything to win him over! minsoo is wary of him but can’t shake him off, so he proposes a contract where they’ll date for a semester and if minsoo doesn’t like junwon by then… he’ll have to leave minsoo alone!! (spoiler: that’s not what happens AT ALL) review: oh i was so done with junwon in the beginning, but realizing minsoo’s hatred stemmed from an inferiority complex… then seeing how their dynamic developed… top tier progression ngl (also they’re so hot together i love their relationship)

storyline: lee soohyun is always second to jung eunsang in school, which really messes with his self-perception and self-worth... ten years later, jung eunsang is caught in a scandal as the protegé of a famous painter, and soohyun rushes in to see him hit rock bottom (or better yet, play an active part in getting him there). of course, things don't quite go as planned. review: it was okay, but soohyun and eunsang's dynamic was super interesting in the beginning (twisted, layered and unpredictable from both sides) and it just developed into a romantic relationship a bit out of the blue... 100+ chapters and i can't say i was that intrigued by the plot or the flow of the story

storyline: shingo is the school’s cupid, as everyone asks for help knowing more about their crushes and he helps them in exchange for food and other small things. then someone asks him about ao, a cold and unapproachable senpai who shingo later discovers has a scar on his forehead that he covers up with his hair and a serious trauma involving thunder. shingo then decides i he doesn’t want to share any of this with anyone else (there’s also another age gap story that might be happening in the same universe but i don’t think it’s confirmed) review: pretty cute, and shingo and ao’s dynamic is lovely

storyline: yukito always gets dumped by his girlfriends, and fujisaki is always there to comfort him. then suddenly, both of them wake up in a world where it is a crime to be single… fujisaki makes damn good use of that premise to work his crush on his friend out review: lmaooo
