I was lured in by the beautiful family fluff. I thought we were gonna be happy together forever. I loved how the princess navigated life and weaponized her cuteness. I loved that mostly everyone was sane. The Emperor was a good dad. The mom hadn’t died like most moms in the genre do. The brothers were kind and loving. They had be kicking my feet at the funny sibling bonds and the fact that the royal family was getting along well. I was looking forward to every single character’s future. My favorite character being the Crown Prince. Then they literally took everything from me. My heart ACHES. They got me attached just to make the pain that much more intense. UGH I can’t handle this. I was genuinely moved to tears. How could they do this to me. This is the first time I’ve ever been critically attacked by one of these. I don’t have the defenses built strongly enough to survive this assault.
