Dark. Very dark. Edit: this could’ve been a good manga that shows the depth of how rape and S/A truly affects one’s life. It could’ve given the readers an insight as to how hard it is to speak out about one’s situation and trauma regarding that, but then the author threw that chance in the trash and romanticized rape. In no way shape or form is rape, blackmail, S/A, etc. EVER okay. The mangaka could’ve used this story to speak out about that and end the story with closure after Haruki getting help, the brother getting punished, and simply staying the hell away from him. Instead the mangaka ruined the whole manga by putting them together again and ending it like that. Truly despicable
