Mama Fujoushi's manga / #yakuza(37)

Restaurant owner and former middle school classmate's son. Yakuza is after the dad and he leaves the kid with the restaurant owner. I enjoyed it quite a bit. :D

Side story to Otoshiana ni... with the Mama from the bar and his high school partner. I didn't like the lack of emotion or commitment (they're still "dating" all those years later oi!), but I did like that they (used to) switch. That was kinda cool. Still, not a reread.

Yaoi, I guess. The story (and ending) was meh. I wasn't really feeling it between them. I get it was (mostly) a front, but bleh. Not a reread.

That was fun. The friends-to-lovers was great and I loved the way the yakuza one worked out. That third one, though. Tsundere. *sigh* I can deal with it, but it would have been nice if the boss had given up at least a little of that. This mangaka seems to like the tsundere types. not *bad* but take it in bits (don't binge-read their stuff).

Oh, I like this. Much like The Lion Doesn't Refuse, it's really good. There's some angst, but not so much they can't get past it. I love that he's confused, but doesn't fight his attraction. The dad's story poked at my heart a bit. I'm sorry for the heartache and years they were apart, but I'm happy to see them together now. The secretary was a LITTLE annoying. I would have liked to see him thaw more. Still, I liked it and would definitely reread.
