They're just gonna pretend like getting a romantic relationship with a nice(r) guy is gonna fix all the trauma and warped perspective and complete lack of esteem the uke has. Bro got beaten so badly by his homophobic dad that was in the hospital and suddenly they're just talking on the phone??? The uke being rich was apparently more important than him getting the guts to cut off his toxic family and realizing his own self worth.
