Our House Love Trouble
DNF - ch.5 i can't believe i even endured reading this up until fifth chapter. but the declaration of second seme "only liking little boys/bodies" was the last straw.
Hebi no Yomeiri
it had so much potential if the water god was just a clingy guy and not a sexual offender. you can't just bite and take someone bc they're nice to you damn gods??? SPOILERS - plot summary so i don't forget: -a bullied office worker rants in front of a little shrine that his company has and offers a cup of sake. -a snake comes up to him, accepts the offering as well as talking with him. -suddenly president of the company starts to protect him, cling to him. -snake president injects his poison into him and sexually assaults him. -suddenly he becomes the bride of the water god. -now he has to carry snake babies for god to complete his transformation. -NOW I REMEMBER, he also had sex with the president's aide bc they're one? so not surprised they had twins lmao basic bl logic strikes again?? (but they don't talk about this ever again after it happened still... it's weird af) -kids come out looking like 10 year old, can speak fluently. but bc the uke couldn't believe how they were conceived, the children are cold to him. -anyways they solve the issue, but for some damn reason children can transform into adults. -they try to assault him too, like father like sons. -the end suggests an another baby.
The Beast Must Die
i never thought i'd be hooked up on this story, but it is pretty interesting. despite not finding kangmoo being way too god-like realistic, some aspects of this story is better than other psychological smut, especially how the author handles their first time. however, kirin's character gets no justice in my opinion. since it's not really a love story but rather a game of co-dependency with the only person who can go to such lengths for you (at least that's how i see this); i expected him to be more cruel? possessive? like how he is in the extra chapter he gifts necklace to kangmoo. anyways, i guess it tells how wanting revenge and avenging someone or something aren't the same. am i making sense? lastly, storytelling of this need some work but i love how author themselves tweeted about how kangmoo makes decisions for his own good but readers seem to interpret differently as if he was showing affection.
