When the Villainess Loves
Absolutely adore the relationship between the sisters, 10/10. The setup of why MC was in the 'modern' world to begin with was so good and well thought out! Was it a little dramatic? For sure, but I absolutely ate that up. All of the male leads could've used more development and I felt like the villain was just kind of thrown out there but everything else was amazing. 4/5 stars
I Became the Wife of the Male Lead
It started good but I started getting really bored by the end. Every conflict was just a repeat of itself. Mc and Ml are fighting? It happens like five times but each one was MC being like "am I really in love, tho?" "Is love even real???". Which I get but damn find something else to move the relationship forward. Every time the villain showed up it was MC getting absorbed into the darkness and then just... let go? A bunch of times? ML couldn't do anything and just felt passive, but it didn't feel like MC did anything, either. The antagonist was just like "you're right, after thousands of years I do believe I can be happy now" and gave up.
Duchess's Lo-Fi Coffeehouse
Cute and fluffy, not bad. Like a worse version of the duchess's 50 tea recipes. I liked that there were no misunderstandings, and loved watching the ML put his foot in his mouth and struggle to say his real feelings. The ending felt too mary sue, yeah we committed genocide against this group of people we hate (for no reason? even tho we have mages and I don't know how they're different from witches?) but yay! Coffee makes it work no matter what! Maybe I would've liked this a bit more if I actually liked drinking coffee oof TT.TT 3/5 stars
I Will Politely Decline the Male Lead!
Not bad, the time twist that everyone (or at least mostly) was in on the time reversal and also had previous memories got me good. Pretty cute and overall liked how MC bantered with both the ML and her friends. But it also felt like the story was... missing something? I can't quite put my finger on it but maybe it felt like actions didn't have proportional impacts or something like that. So the story ended up feeling shallow and light rather than grounded. A lack of impact overall from the story. 2.5/5 stars
I Failed to Divorce My Husband
So cute and sweet I love the main couple! The way they love each other and work through trauma together is the best, I adore them. It was a little frustrating when the MC assumed that the plot line couldn't be changed (always a pet peeve of mine) but although it went on for a bit it wasn't too dramatic. It ended early and they trusted each other even more than before afterwards. You know it's a good story when I kept reading it despite the art style, it's not bad but definitely far from my favorite. 4.5/5 stars
