it was initially adorable at first but after the sex scenes, their relationship didn't make sense to me at all. I didn't think that lil pup liked this guy that much cuz I thought he was still wary of this guy but also has a soft spot for him What was the point of this story? Two hurt individuals finding refuge in their relationship? tbh the lil fighter pup was the reason why I read til the end, all cuz he's very adorable What did I like about the story? 1. the flow to how they met was a nice setting 2. lil pup's story & similar goal as big wolf--to beat someone up 3. the last sex scene cuz I felt like at that point their relationship was good enough for an intimate scene What could've been improved? 1. The theme--instead of modern setting, it should've leaned towards clans and less civil places and more ancient settings 2. felt like lil pup had his arc cut off short cuz it just focused a lot on big wolf's family & he had barely anything to do outside of the wolve's territory 3. tbh it felt weird and unnatural for big wolf to be all intimate with lil pup with the biting, skin, and 'babe' 4. the first sex scene & the reaction of it was too sudden and unexpected for me 5. the backstory of big wolf was delayed so much!! the conclusion of his family situation was very messy, and where is the conclusion for their ending?--it's only slightly different from what they were--lil pup doesn't even know your whole backstory!!!

I watched this anime as a kid, and reading it now, I still find this work to be beautiful. Pure love. Home is where they both are. The story really did well in framing that with all the other kinds of love surrounding theirs. When Sato-san gradually grew unstable due to carrying the burden alone, with the power of unconditional love and support--through confiding the truth with Shio-chan, and Shio-chan willingly accepts this part of Sato-san, they found new strength in each other and themselves. I love the character growth of both of them, but especially Shio-chan's.

an easy predictable conclusion with a cute love interest and oblivious main character (flashbacks) overall simple and sweet, and nice art but lacks an emotional punch. I think the game world is just too unrealistic when I know that this world is a game world is literally a game with no characters with a will of their own, and watching MC trying to find true love in that kind of scripted world just didn't support the message and feelings it ultimately ends with. The theme/setting could've been dealt better, especially cuz my immersion for this world is shattered every time the option window pops up. And meeting up with lots of girls just feels so artificial and shallow.... Last thing, I wish MC's feelings came slowly or differently. You were avoiding him a lot but when a girl kissed him and he kept a secret from you and when you look at a photo of him that made you feel things---that's what made you realize you like this guy? This is just my own opinion but I wish the MC realized his 'feelings for him' when he has noticed the little things he has done for him that he has taken for granted, and hear stuff about him through others, and learn about other people's perspectives & use that to see him differently, stuff like that, but I'm just complaining a lot :D
