I am the Master in this Life
Great story in many aspect. The fantasy world lore is heavily present in a story driving way and it's the second best thing in this webtoon after The ANTAGONISTIC HALF SISTER. She got the usually regrated strong female character personality type, she's smart, calculative and weary, she got people she cares about aka her mom and the guy with the black stone, she is taking her role and duty as a marquis daughter seriously but she's abusive twords FL and her motivation do make sense which makes her feel real. FL want to get revenge, still she's not overly smart or knowledgeable to achieve a grand one, it evolve surviving and not being cut doing something out of character for most parts to successfully obtaining the Marquis title and it's exactly what one would expect her to do. She's still naive and inexperienced in life and make many mistakes.
The Fallen Duke & the Knight Who Hated Him
I’Ll Twist The Neck Of A Sweet Dog
Oh my god it's so amazing so great perfectly fit for my want to read! 18 chapters before the and 3 chapters for the FL to realize what happened of showing not to execute in a way that worked perfectly to building up the angst. Then turning it into a thrilling excitement of questions about who are the characters that knows about the past? And what is going to happen to FL? She longed for an emotional human connection, a sense of belonging, understanding and equality that her baby daughter give her. Whoever both the knight and the emperor effaced her with their sincerely and genuine feeling. As the first season progress she escape the Duke, come to trim with the emperor and said her goodbye to the knight who was hinted to have some connection her paste. But no romance development which is actually great she needs to heal, to grief her daughter, to be at peace and reconnect with herself. The end of the first season is satisfying reviling that the Duke didn't kill her daughter but send her away with the knight and that she's the one get time to go back taking her revenge with prest timeline knight. Session 2 is the empress trying to use FL to seduce the emperor like the Duke did. We're abandoned in the middle of the emperor pov first timeline
I Became The Sister In Law Of My Ex Fiance
The cover is misleading and the story not that interesting and despite the terrible pacing, the rashes poorly execute scenes, leading to no balance between political drama and romance drama. I kept on reading. The characters are bland and boring except for the ex fiance his villain origin story and motivation are great and working well with his actions, the mother abuse, the inferiority complex and envy of his brother and maybe even FL. But it doesn't explain how did he and the bitch got together or if they even love each other, Which brings us to the backstabber ex best friend who's the same issues as the the prince but not the same degree she's just selfish and that's all there's to her ( I hate the treatment female antagonistic get compare to male ones). On the other hand ML and FL are very generic but not overly powered, FL especially she have nothing amazing going one for herself and hardly do anything useful that doesn't back clash, they tend to fall for the cruel trick of the villains couple a lot despite depicting them in a cartoon-ish way in the first chapter by telling all their plans. After the election the story took a weird turn, they're accused of betrayal and doing a long chasing sequence. It's not that it's doesn't make sense but rather how exaggerated everything is, I think it's the famous white room syndrome effect.
Sigrid
The art is gorgeous and I basically just want FL to find meaning to life and be happy. By the end of season 1 it becomes too interesting... Why did the prince they went to save tuned on them?
It's No Use Hanging On
Can't believe I was planning on re reading it a second time to understand certain plot points. Unfortunately the ending was flat. _______ One of my favorite in the historical fantasy setting. This one is basic but oh boy, I love basics! FL was used, manipulated, poised and finally betrayed and left to die in the most painful way by her childhood sweetheart Rakan and lovely cousine Vienna. FL Kiara got a second chance in life to make things right and she chose to give it to revenge and also Pillion her fiancé whom she have been sheeting on with his brother previously. FL is empowering, it's showing straight away that she's not someone to miss with. She helps lots of people in the way those who matter to her and those she can use. Despite her first live, their a lot of things that are being discovered in the second mostly related to her parents past, which keeps the story interesting. Now the reason that made me go through terrible translation, Rakan new developed obsession towards FL and the resumption awaiting for him and bitchy couz.
