This is soo~ go~od despite the rushed pacing adaptation & what I felt as sterile romance at first but is not, yet this webtoon as a whole read as dog blood historical romance, and little me can't get enough form of this types of story / plot. I know that it's hard to make a good repenting and chasing season but so underwhelming like everything happened so fast like usual but the emotion was lacking and lot of what happened was very social/shonen like and not very José and like the characters action were also disappointing f l didn't manage to save Damian as the save courageous character that she is supposed to embody. _______ So the characters... First Duc Damien Ernest Von Thisse is soooo my favorite type of male lead / love interest a cunning, conniving, calculating, scheming manipulator, I love that he have no tragic past or want of revenge he's just arrogant and greedy for greatness... he wants it all and he'll do whatever it takes to get it all... Lucky him the perfect pawn aka FL happen to be at the right time & palace. Chloé Verdier in comparison is so doll, so blend, elle ne se démarque pas d'une autre FL de se type. She'll do anything for the people who matters to her and that's the weakness ML capitalized on to work his plane. FL is not a bad character in any way it's just the this is one of those cases when everything it to logical to a fault, everything with her make too much sense.

This is revenge porn ! It's good yet bad, lucky it not a romance but rather a severe Stockholm syndrome. Seme don't get a redemption arc and Uke delusioned himself into thinking this is love. Seme got a traumatizing experience that lift him scared, because of Uke crazy emotional venting. I won't go as far as to say that Seme had pure intentions, since he was a creep all along but damn Uke deserved it. Can't believe that before this revelation I actually pitied Uke despite his bad personality, but Same did not, years later caught him and treat uke as dog"what goes around comes around" Karma is so strong.

Title as accurate as the first story but not as impactful since it want to be a cute romance ... With rape and grooming... Yeah no ... And yet the ending was like oh so cute good for them
