Now I see what this manhwa is trying to do, making her to be the relatable girl who cringes at the side characters corny confessions to the fl. But we all know she'll end up together with the guy she wants to matchmake the fl with so. Will she be dense like the rest of them? A comment said that she was annoying butting into the fl's business left and right, blocking the advances made by the Duke to fit her agenda of returning to a higher position as the ml is her boss' trashy son. It's Been A While Since the Original Novel was Completed
This is good! I mean it is such a good read.. genuinely. Finally an MC who is realistic and have real dating experience. The way she thinks is obviously the 21st century way, she thinks the ML is a huge grizzly bear (in a bad way initially). It's nice to see her antics of convincing herself that he isn't her type, that she likes pretty boys with lean figures and a pretty face. I like how the og ml and fl are not made out to be a villain, instead we can see the og ml regretting his actions quite a bit of treating the MC like absolute shit. The og fl is a pure and innocent naive fool who is boring to no end~ the MC also admits this. Also love that the og ml and fl are canon and that the og ml don't automatically fall for the MC now that she's 'different'. Currently at ch15.
I’m Not That Kind of Talent
The misunderstanding trope...It was fun at the beginning but it is starting to get stale. It is very formulaic. It is not a total misunderstanding per se..he is strong in the sense that he is quick, agile, bloodthirsty and has quick reflexes. He just doesn't have much force behind him, and his weak constitution is to blame for it. He could be a villain with that backstory, he killed his family in cold blood as revenge for neglecting him since childhood and putting him up for the war as collateral. He is a double spy for the Emperor and the Demon King tho his loyalty lies with the Demon King more or less since his hatred for the Emperor is sky high. His older brother is scared of him and asked for protection from the Duke in exchange for him becoming his dog. The princess and prince aren't much. The princess acts dumb and pretends to be head over heels in love with the MC to get people to ward off him and to ensure his absolute loyalty to the Emperor. His memory is split in half, so he has two egos I think. Tho I think this fiasco will be ongoing for a while since this seems to be that trope.
Pure villain
The MC is dumb... that's the plot. Really. If the MC was a bit smarter and was normal then the story would be gone. She falls in love easily, being rejected by the guy whom she harboured feelings for a whole three years then she was rescued by the male lead who is the very symbol of a hero, then becomes the next victim for her unrequited love until he likes her, which he will otherwise the light-hearted tone of this manhwa will go up in flames. She also has superpowers and is OP to the extent that the ML is given a leave(?) since she is that much of a threat. Her grandma is cool tho. Also the symmetry thing, could it be any more obvious? 'Death the kid'..it seems like a lousy copy of that iconic quirkiness of that character. Also the half coloured hair girlie that always streams...I wish she would die. That will be fun. At first it was funny how the MC ends up in these misunderstanding prone situations but it's not executed well and it relies on it too heavily to fit my taste. My sister loves it tho so kudos to the author. The memes are funny tho, I came across this for the scene where she broke her handcuffs and bowed while returning it.

A little incest never hurt nobody. UPDATE (28/02/23): So I read all of it which is upto ch5.5. So they are technically step-bros and not bros by blood, as the Lil bro likes to emphasize. The big bro is the uke and the Lil bro the seme, the former gay and the latter bi. When they were kids, their parents got married and on their first meeting, the uke held out his hand and brightly introduced himself while calling himself a big bro to the seme with the said seme hiding behind his mom's back and peeking repeating the words "big bro". So cute...right? Yeah, that dynamic took a complete 180 by the time they got older. The uke is a hairdresser with a shit taste in men and the housewife of the two. The seme a DJ and a part-time soba worker, and is a playboy who cannot commit. The seme is the one who catches feelings first. With them finding out about eachother's sexual identity by coming across eo with a man each by their side. They talk it out, then the seme asks if he is a top or a bottom and added that he himself was a top. The uke blushes to the top of his ears looking aside avoiding his gaze while saying abashedly "Why are you asking that?". Then the seme sits there stunned and continues thinking about the uke's face over and over again, the cherry on top was him hearing the uke rubbing one out and he himself turned hard. He tried avoiding him by going home late, with the excuse of work eventho he completed his set already. This went on for several days until the uke comes to his workplace ie the nightclub and comes across his friends who admitted that the Lil bro had a 'bro complex' which the uke seems unfazed by since we later find out he himself is the same. The seme makes up his mind, pursues him and later the uke feels the same way. They continue with their relationship smoothly while I as a reader already feel tension abrew, coming from a mile away and there it was..they visited their grandparents when the grandpa talks about wanting to see his grandchildren before he dies. Then the uke spirals and overthinks, telling the seme that they should remain as brothers, the seme reacts harshly but eventually accepts. Then he moves out. The uke is lonely and masturbates while thinking of him, making meals for two (unconsciously) and so on. Since he was always there, he took him for granted and so on. Weeks past and the seme asks to meet up and we see a change in demeanor, with him taking the initiative to raise his hands up to ask for the menu in the restaurant they were at while the uke was mid-way in doing the same thing. The uke is torn on seeing his lil bro get by just fine without him since he always looked after him in every way and pampered him. But what amazed me was his tenacity, he misses him badly but he is still convinced he is right and won't budge. Now this is where it happens: the reconciliation. How? The seme gets hurt and is in a hospital. As cliche as it is and a cheap way to resolve the conflict and get uke to admit his feelings back. I don't mind it because any other way would have been false to the established character trait of the uke so.. He cries and admits his feelings..very very dramatic. Then the seme mutters "I knew you felt the same way"..then viola. The end. The added half a chapter was them having sex and showing the uke's experience in the act...he was basically a 'pillow princess' but he takes initiative now with him giving him a skillful blowjob and spreading his asshole, telling him to put it in with a very erotic expression on his face blessing the seme with a full view of his ass. The seme spanked him and tells him not to act like he was used to it which he responded "I am used to it so I can't help it". Then they have sex.. uncensored sex. Wait, who is the top? President Mo or Secretary Xiao? The idea of them being switches is totally plausible too, with the President being a huge tsundere and being a Lil cutie and Secretary Xiao while being outgoing and seems harmless usually, he turns different when he is drunk or during intense moments. Oh! I've read this. The MC is very selfish and very very concerned and partake in the beauty standards of this world. The only reason she took on the 'hero' role is because she experiences extreme pain if she ignores the sufferings of the commoners etc. There are several love interests but I reckon the ML will be the black-haired Duke( I know typical right). He is also the fiancee of her frenemy; the two are in some type of competition it seems. It is a walking cliche but sometimes that's what you need. No lies detected.
