The Tyrant’s Guardian is an Evil Witch
Noooooo..not mc being a whole ass predator..I know the child is gonna be ml so dropped
I Don't Love You Anymore
Regret is a feeling much too late..not my cuppa tea..read first few chapters
Amina of the Lamp
It was interesting at first but it got boring towards the end.. interesting premise tho..love our tan MC..usually the tan one would be second lead but it's nice he took the forefront
I Will Take Responsibility for the Welfare of the Male Lead
Cute cover page and nice title So I read it and I have to say it is a walking cliche..the way the characters think, the setting, the fake engagement, the flashbacks, the motivations, the obsessive nature of ml and so on..the art is so shabby and the expressions are so hard to digest..it doesn't feel real..it was like it was drawn for this specific purpose and makes us disconnected. The writing is garbage, the pacing is like fast as heck, the dense MC doing everything to help the ml but being like "only until og fl comes into the picture"..bitch u know damn well ml will be in love with u as he has been deprived of affection and if someone extends their hands and fix everything for them, the only result is romance. I mean I didn't expect anything more but I was hoping that it would be a hidden gem. I feel so demotivated seriously...the ml's ability is super common - the ability to detect someone's essence and since MC is not of this world - being reincarnated in the unfinished story that she wrote, her aura is different..child abuse is being explored and is like an important plotline for this story but it is done so lightly and the MC has a flashback to her childhood and that's it. The ml was also abused, and his curse is also common where he experiences 'the madness' where he goes on a rampage until he sees blood...yeah I've seen that before.. nothing new there. But at least the story is self-aware and MC admits it was a tool to justify the ml's obsessive nature towards og fl. Also the mc was a kindergarten teacher but that was so out of the blue and I feel like that was done half-heartedly so that it would justify her taking care of the two kids (that are not the real children of ml, but of someone who betrayed him). Moreover, ML has insomnia..seriously what is up with this, such a cliche..ugh..so she sings a lullaby for him which he reacts badly to cuz he was reminded of the children's bio dad and grabs ahold of MC's hand roughly. She adamantly says 'please let me sing for 5 mins' or something along those lines..then he falls asleep..so she goes there every night, which the maids and butler misunderstand leading to everyone trying to curry favour with her or testing her. Her seeing the past of the villainess was also not a surprise but the fact that she talked to her and give everyone a happy ending was also...not a surprise but nice. I welcome it. Hmm..the way she dealt with her family tho intended to look like a badass moment made me cringe so hard..with her preaching on loving eachother and setting their differences straight..it feels the writer was inspired by all those self-love quotes and decided to just dump it all over this manhwa..It somehow irks me the way she teaches the children, Idk why exactly but like her giving that stamp or something after every good deed and telling them to reconcile after like a normal fight between siblings and hug it out...ugh..vomit inducing..I don't like this story one bit but I was able to stomach through it upto 48 chapters. As I am writting this review, it is currently 3:15 now on 19 July, 2022..BYE!!
I Was Born As The Demon Lord's Daughter
I read like the first five chapters of this manhwa and it didn't keep my interest so I dropped it. But I keep seeing people praise it and in the lists of favourite manhwas including the one I am currently scrolling through, so I'mma give it another shot. I even advised my sister against it and she was like "Really? I have heard some really good things about it tho", so yeah.
My Family is Obsessed with Me
A one star on a bad day fr..like it's so on the nose type of webtoon so I didn't enjoy it. I felt that everything was so predictable and the child MC was not cute to me at all..I find most child character in manhwas to be spoiled and annoying honestly, I just wanna whack them in the head or beat them up with my chappal. The fact that she is their bio daughter that they lost is so bloody obvious to me..the author is basically spoon-feeding us with this bit of info and anyone who don't catch it is a fool and anyone thinking they are smart for figuring it out is so damn slow and not right in the head obviously. She lived up to an adult in her lastlife so that isn't an excuse for her childlike behaviour, her getting her hand dirty with chocolate and all, girl u gonna get diabetes for sure. Another thing I hate about this trope is a child in an unfortunate situation is adopted by rich ass motherfuckers who spoil them rotten and they start acting like those rich ass spoiled kids, like why? U know better than to sulk or cry when u don't have your fav desserts or sweets.. that's already privileged as heck. Them becoming crybabies also makes me wanna bully them or some shit...aghh
Don’t Say You Love Me
It is definitely not YAOI but shounen ai..most definitely..I have read like a chapter before a while back but I felt like the MC would give me a ton of second- hand embarassment so I have been putting it off. Like we know his friend liked him but that was another timeline, right? They are not even friends in this timeline but him blushing and all when he sees him..ugh..I can't manage..Like he is so aware of him now and starting to see him in that light. Also a thing to note, in his og timeline when his friend confessed to him, the ml seemed so nonchalant and not nervous at all so..and MC stop kidding yourself..u don't see him as a brother atleast not anymore Ok, I admit that I was very short sighted regarding these two relationship. It seems that this is not very typical, when it shows the past timeline it is always the uke taking the initiative and the seme gets sucked into it. He seems to think he is straight eventho all the signs point to him being gay, or maybe bi? And I can see why the seme falls for him, he is so thoughtful and doesn't back away after being given the cold shoulder, and tries to resolve things healthily. Also he is cute..I love his blushing face. The moment the seme felt the same way for him, I was in a good mood the whole way through.
When the Killer Falls in Love
I am five chapters in currently..I love it so far This is spectacular! I like them both so much..The blondie is so annoying though..The tension of the scenes got so disrupted because of him being such a kid and insisting on being a brat and acting all emotional. The manager also annoyed me for a little while but I understood where he was coming from. One thing I will say is the inconsistency in the formality...Korean is a very polite language and is strict on age..so it strikes me as odd that they're calling each other by name..ML did call Manager hyung but he didn't call MC hyung..and the manager despite his timid personality supposedly calls the MC by name? It shouldn't bother me but it does! Anyway back to the plot..The two lovebirds were so funny..I didn't immediately assume that they used to date but I did feel some chemistry/history. I also like the duo of hotheaded×cool so.. I don't approve of the boss and blondie btw. Not only does it feel wrong..I hate the mf blondie..Hate is a strong word..I just don't like him honestly.
The Demon King's Confession
It is under a different name in Webtoon 'The Dark Lord's Confession', I had a hard time finding it on this website. Honestly, I expected it to be like 10 chapters ahead but it's only 2 chapters ahead from Webtoon (the app)..The art is pretty but the MC is a dunce, a person who doesn't think and is naively optimistic. The way she runs staight into danger while being powerless is ughhh..The way she thinks, if there is romance that will be blossoming between her and that young paladin, I will refuse. And I am confused about the ages of her and her two friends, like when she abandoned them five years ago, they were children so I expected them to be 18 or 19 but are they over 20? cuz the youngest paladin ever is 19 years old and they say he is three years younger than us, so I'm confused. Furthermore, what is the thought process behind the MC's action? Why is she not doubting the history concerning the magicians and concludes that the holy knights are in the right cuz I feel like it might just be the opposite. The potential ML gives me bad vibes, he seems very devoted and ready to kill anyone that do not agree with the doctrine of the holy knights and he doesn't seem to be the type to question things. He feels dangerous to me cuz he seems to see things in black and white, in good and bad..like that clear of a distinction and anyone that do not fall in either category, what about them? What about our MC? Like he was fully prepared to kill MC but he saw that the kid she was holding was asleep instead of being like injured or dead and he immediately changed, his eyes grew kinder in a split second, he apologized and all. That scares me. And the MC doesn't seem like the most cautious person so I'm worried. Btw I am 10 chapters in.
