Eh..it's so so. The art isn't as polished as I would like it to be but I digress. The historical guideverse was interesting. The way the hierarchy was turned upside down?...Spectacular! Plus the bottom being a peasant the prince took in back then was a nice touch. The way the ML is still so prideful, calling him peasant, when his hair was cut, when the uke touched his hair. I like that it's realistic. People are complaining about the blondie being the bottom but I couldn't care less. There's only 8 chapters apparently so we're halfway there.

Um I thought I already put this on my reading list. Anyways I read ahead a little bit so I know some lore ig you could say. So I'm a bit disappointed that they left out so many nuances and subtlety that could enrich the experience and story itself but ig that makes sense since you would want to condense it. The MC being a beta would be unable to get pregnant but I think I saw a spoiler where they said that he eventually got pregnant. The ML is top tier. I love him...He is just amazing. I like his character design as well. The deal with his noona being wary of him hurts my heart but at least he has MC now so...about the story..there isn't much to say but the one who bullied him...I liked that he actually liked the MC all along and even wanted to marry him but his surrounding etc etc didn't allow that so he was affected therefore turning into this warped love.

I read this already. I don't know how far I've read it but it's fairly a decent amount I feel. It does what it needs to but it lacks substance and direction. It feels very aimless for me personally. The characters are not engaging enough that I will suffer through the 'plot' just to see them doing nothing. I could give it a three star but two stars it is. Him and the ML has a nice tikki takka tho

Asha is so dumb. I know this is grooming but this doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Maybe it's because it's only a six year difference? Either way it's funny. I don't think this manhwa is to be taken seriously is the first place.

This was phenomenal. I read this a while back and was so moved by the plot. I like Shin and him together, they're the reason I became obsessed with gold and navy blue. I like how they mix together. I don't feel like talking about the king and the children...it just nauseats me and I know I'll remember it so there's no need for me to write it. I like the last chapter...Ch37...when the ML finally became King, the words he said to Shin "Remember I'm the one who took your cape off...Ever since the day you swore to be mine.. your heart belonged to me...from this day onwards...your body too belongs to me...For as long as you're alive and breathing...you're mine" like Ahhhhhh... Although I despise the King...the thing he said about Shin and his calm eyes really made me stop for a second...also when he said that Shin seduced him...it really allows you into the psyche of the King.

Uhh no I can't handle a dumb FL...at least be a bit feisty and funny if you lack intelligence. She is so boring and ignorant. Couldn't she have timed her escape better? I get that she wants to run away before the Emperor arrives but she's a reader, she should already know that she would be the dead mother of the FL and is just attempting to run away now. And stealing a horse after seeing nobles and people right there in the stable? What's wrong with you woman? I also wish she was a bit witty, the Emperor surprisingly has a sharp tongue and likes to tease her so a little bit of tikki takka would be fun. Also his relationship with his mother is very complex....I like that element. I wish she had a more intimate moment with her instead of being nervous and fumbling over her words when it's clear as day the Empress Dowager felt a kinship with her because of their situation. Like gurl you were given so much opportunities? Also about the birth control pills, you asked only once! One time! And just gave up? You know you will die yet that certainly doesn't seem to be the case with how easygoing she's acting. Another thing the way she met the Empress made me want to hurl my phone across the room. You speed walked while closing your eyes thinking that the air between the mother and son pair was so intense. Like gurl you have been in more tense situations supposedly. Where is the continuity? Also her sighing in front of her, I would slap her as well ngl. Ch5.

I don't like it. I'm sorry. I see praises for this and I get where they're coming from but this just isn't it for me. It's so subpar, I thought the inner conflict between his two selves would last longer but we just breezed past that like we do everything else in this story apparently. The two brothers are not interesting to me...I get that the first prince is clouded in mystery and he has ties all around but it's just not engaging. I like that we learned later that the second prince was wary or more accurately afraid of him but that's all I can applaud it for. His mother who is supposedly the true ruler of this kingdom is so fucking dumb that I can't take anything seriously. The whole master and disciple dynamic is also super boring...The ML just makes his master do a bunch of stuff. They already formed a deep bond, like yeah I get that part since the bond between a master and a disciple is inherently very deep but it's all so surface level. There's no depth to it. The ML is another thing...I don't like him. He is so goofy to me...I don't find him intimidating nor charismatic nor relatable. He is so mid. He was convinced his brother was the one who turned back time for him yet the Dragon basically said 'You think anyone would be naive enough to risk everything for you, especially your brother who is a king' so....Another thing is he isn’t smart at all. He is so average and he constanty thinks that he's right but there are no repercussions. Also the lack of inner turmoil is just the cherry on top. About the bird girl who ended up betraying his previous kingdom...he was mad because the one he knew was loyal but he showed no signs of sorrow or what not. He just moved past it like nothing happened. Also does he not care for his past kingdom anymore? I get that his goal is to prevent the war but still the way he assumed the identity of Callan right off the bat is so flimsy(?) About the elephant thing and his attendant who is a simp for him. I can't sympathize with him nor do I find the whole bit funny. The writer really tried tho with the elder brother and finding someone to protect etc etc but what can this pussy even do? The gods and what not I am hardly interested in. And also the king is so fucking useless...he didn't care for his son (I want no excuses) and now he's a candidate for Father of the Year? Kindly piss off! He's so dumb. What's the connection between him and the mage tho? The art style is also really horrible as well.Ch55.

Wholesome read. The whole curse thing is a plot point to make our two passive leads advance in their love life. Now the whole Yuliana cursing both her and ML's brother since she loved the ML is tired but it's a one shot so I'll excuse it. The MC is a very laid back person. I don’t know what else to say about her. Even the prince...freezing her for three and a half years and undoing the curse in the meantime...like bravo! I wonder if the first prince was like 'ah damn' when his fiance turned out to be such a nutcase.

Her boobs get bigger every chapter. Is she G cup now perhaps? Her body proportions is way off now. I like that the ML is selfless in this one unlike the others. It's the same old revenge and reclaiming what's hers so ofc Contract marriage with the Duke is necessary. I do like that the Duke straight up made it a real permanent marriage though. And also the Duke has so much style. It's funny how spineless the FL's hubby is...her ex bestie pegs him for sure. Ch14.
