Choujou ha Nemuri ni Ochitekara
My rating: 6,5/10 Very good art but way too many time-skips. It just felt like the summary of another manga at this point. The ML was creepy and their love was sex. Well alright ... HISTORICAL, COMA When she wakes up from her 3-year coma, the FL finds herself married the duke who saved her family from bankruptcy. She doesn't love him, but he wants to change that.
Serenade of the Pirate King
My rating: 8/10 This is one good harlequin. It's different, there isn't such a power gap between the FL and the ML. They're both strong in their own way and free each other from their chains. It's cute. PIRATES, MARRIAGE, HISTORICAL In order to help her father, a noble lady has to marry an influential pirate who is officially allowed to run his business. But one the way to him, her ship gets attacked by the notorious ghost ship and she becomes a captive. To survive, she pretends to be a musician and unknowingly lets the young captain remember his past with her song.
Born to Love you
My rating: 4/10 That was clumsy and corny. There were plot holes and the uke went on and on about this "nostalgic feeling", he was kind of a drama queen. TEACHERS, SECOND LIFE The uke is a teacher and friends with his colleague, the seme. One day, he discovers a story about two students from the past written by an anonymous person, a story completely identical with one he finds in the library from the long forgotten past. And he and the seme feel connected to it.
Bidou Wakadanna Koi Shitau Wa Koushoku Otoko
My rating: 9/10 This is so heart-warming. The uke is literally like an angel and the seme has this cool and detached vibe but actually is totally smitten with the uke. It's mixed pov and the art is marvellous. A masterpiece. But it feels like there could be more chapters. HISTORICAL, FLUFF, PLAYBOY SEME The stage is Edo. The earnest and kind second son of a draper store (uke) accidentally meets his favorite hairpin artisan (seme) who invites him to his house thinking that he's a woman trying to seduce him.
Shinai Naru Omega e
My rating: 7,5/10 It's interesting, there's more to it all than you think at first. Bc of that there's quite some drama and I really pity the omegas in this story. But it ends well. They deserve it. HISTORICAL, DECEPTION A poor omega starts as a secretary of a young rich alpha who hates omegas bc of his childhood trauma. The omega pretends to be a beta but when he gets found out he forcefully becomes the alpha's mate. But he isn't the one who planned this.
I Picked Up the Second Male Lead After the Ending
My rating: 9/10 The art is unique. The story doesn't have one main arch and villain, there're more events and depictions of their day-to-day life. Instead, it's the complex characters that make it so enjoyable. I really love the FL, she's cheerful and extroverted while the ML seems cold but has a soft core. They have good chemistry. TRANSMIGRATION, NOVEL, STAN The FL possessed the body of a princess who's an extra in her favourite novel. After the plot ends, she decides to propose to her favourite character: the 2 ML who got banished to live as a duke in the north bc of his betrayal. She's determined to crack his shell, but that isn't so easy.
Glass Wall
My rating: 9,6/10 It has a really interesting plot and actual problems from back then are addressed. The romance is of the toxic kind that make u feel the angst. They both suffered so much it made them let each other suffer. Their character growth is amazing. HISTORICAL, BUSINESS, REVENGE The FL is a noble lady who falls for her music teacher (ML) even though she's engaged. But he has ulterior motives bc he hates the nobles who destroyed his family. When her family goes bankrupt and her father dies she loses everything and her fiancee leaves her. But she will meet the two men again.
It's Been A While Since the Original Novel was Completed
My rating: 7/10 It's a cute story. I like their dynamic, especially at the beginning where they don't like each other yet and the ML is very grumpy. Them falling in love and the mutual attraction is written very well. Read it for the fluff, the drama here isn't so deep or interesting. TRANSMIGRATION, STRONG FL, FLUFF The FL possesses the body of Elena Taylor, the villain in the og novel and the prince's fiancee. She decides to let him go and establishes a Love Counseling Center. But years later the mother of the og 2 ML asks her to find a bride for him. But the man changed and became a hunk.
The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion
My rating: 9,5/10 This is a must-read that draws u in and won't let u go until the end. Apart from an amazing romance it's also a fantasy whodunit which gets more and more complicated. I love the strong FL and the sly and obsessive ML, their dynamic sometimes made me laugh out loud. TRANSMIGRATION, MURDER After her death the FL possesses the body of the og FL's friend who gets murdered by her fiancee. To avoid that she uses her knowledge about him to make the og ML (duke) her temporary fiancee and help her escape. But there's still someone after her and her relationship with the ML doesn't stay platonic. SPOILER: The original owner of the FL's body used magic to take over the og FL's body and tries to kill her because one of them must die in order for the other one to live bc their bodies reject their souls. She uses the king's fiancee to help her but kills her when she tries to escape the scheme.
