bros.
My rating: 7/10 It's quite good, I really like the pacing and the mixed pov. The uke isn't just weak, he actually gets angry and defends himself. Their relationship as brothers feels natural, that makes the romance more questionable. I like how they both struggle with it. STEPBROTHERS, ROOMMATES The uke still lives together with his younger stepbrother (seme) and they get along well until they discover each other's secrets - the uke's gay and the seme bi. After that, the seme starts seeing him in a different way. But the uke has a boyfriend.
Antimoral Omegaverse
My rating: 2/10 The art's good but there're so many sex scenes that the plot is basically missing. They just start doing it and from then on their relationship doesn't change and the omega only asks to do it again. That's so disappointing, so much potential for drama wasted. And the mother is horrible just to do a 180 and accept them like it's nothing. Yeah no, the characters don't have a personality. STEPBROTHERS, FATED PAIR The omega is the only one in their family who knows that he's his younger stepbrother's (alpha) fated pair. But their parents neglect him and keep it a secret from the alpha. One day tho, the alpha catches the omega in heat.
Sono Futari, Kaishaku Chigai desu!
My rating: 6/10 Pick this if u want a light, quick read. It's not deep, there's no drama and the characters are short, just two fudanshis falling in love. Entertaining but forgettable. FRIENDS TO LOVERS, OTAKU Two childhood friends hide their otaku sides from each other. One day, they miraculously end up being next to each other at a doujinshi event where they sell their own mangas. From then on, they start growing even closer. But is friendship all there is between them?
Kishukusha no Kuroneko wa Yoru wo Shiranai
My rating: 8/10 It's beautiful, I really enjoy stories with a melancholic vibe. I really like that this doesn't contain something naive like humanity accepting vampires. It's more complex bc aside from the main couple, there're other important characters, but I like that, it's more like in the books I read. I just want another volume instead of the last chapter. BOARDING SCHOOL, VAMPIRE A serious and unsociable student of an elite boarding school (uke) only keeps in contact with the head boy (seme) whom he helps with work. But one day, their classmate discovers bite marks like those of a vampire on his neck. And thus begins the student's search for the culprit.
Backstage Lovers
My rating: 6,5/10 It's enjoyable. I really like the uke, he's serious has some character and is the perfect partner for the playboy seme, they complement each other well. But the romance part is too short. COLLEGE, MUSIC A laid back music student (seme) who can't found a band bc of his perfectionism has a bad first meeting with a student (uke) studying composing music who's the son of a famous maestro. The uke can't play piano in front of a crowd, but then the seme finds a way to make him join his band
Decision
My rating: 7/10 It's really interesting but way too short, I want more. Their dynamic is good, the seme's crazyly obsessed and the uke's cool-headed and strong. More than love their relationship resembles mutual entertainment. Messed up but engaging. The art is good too. ASSASSIN, OBSESSIVE SEME A rich man (seme) who's so tired of his dull life that he starts thinking about death meets a suspicious waiter at a club him and his friends frequent. Finally, he finds something that makes his heart race. An assassin who targets the seme's friend gets caught off guart when the seme gets more than a bit aware of him.
Toumei ni Kuchizuke
My rating: 4/10 I don't like the art and the seme's way of healing the uke's trauma is just weird. I mean, he gets all creepy and practically molests him, there's no way that's helping anyone. I like some parts like the way the uke's trauma still affects him, that's more realistic, but all in all it's not my cup of tea. GHOST, TRAUMA A college student (uke) gets caught by a ghost (seme) masturbating at home. The seme apparently just died and can only be seen by the uke. That's how their strange cohabitation starts.
Tsuki wa Michikake Kemono no Koi
My rating: 6/10 This would be the perfect slow burn, their dynamic fits this trope so well. But bc it's so short, it's all very rushed and thus loses some of its appeal. Also, I'm not a fan of the rape at the beginning. The ending is bittersweet, it all circles around the theme "loneliness". FANTASY, COUNTRYSIDE Unable to fit in in the city, the uke decides to take a break taking care of his uncle's house in the countryside. But in the nearby forest, he meets the lonely guardian dog (seme) of an abandoned shrine who begs him to become his master.
His Pretend Wife
My rating: 2,5/10 I really don't like the stereotypical gender roles being portrayed here. It's like she needs a man and he's just insensitive without a "soft woman" around. Furthermore, they have major communication issues and are such cowards. And when they stated dating, he was 26 and she only 17?! Bro ... CHILDREN, REUNION 12 years ago, the FL fell in love with the older brother of her friend. They were happy, but when he proposed she started feeling cornered and left him after a fight. Now, she struggles as a single mother with a sick daughter. That's when she meets the ML again who's become a doctor.
