SHORT (6 CHAPS) Started: 2025-04-24 Finished: 2025-04-26 At first I was a bit iffy because Guideverse has never been my cup of tea and it was pushing it for this to also have nameverse which I’ve *never* read before. But nevertheless, by the end, I was on board with it. If anything, this felt more devotion than possession. I also liked how they can hear each others thoughts when they’re connected, physically or emotionally. The synch thing was a nice touch! I liked how it evolved to at the end, just by talking to each other, they can synch. A typically but short Guideverse with also a touch of nameverse. Ml breaks the stigma of guides being for espers, publicly announcing that instead of Mc being his one guide, he is mc’s one esper. So instead guides only having one esper and espers having any number of guides, espers have one guide and guides have however many espers, flipping the power dynamics. That was quite a nice touch.
