I get what the author was trying to pull, I really do, and the characters are fine enough. But the pacing for this work was just out of whack for me and the development felt skippy that I found it lukewarm in the end. Such a shame coz it's rare to find a sub top in yaoi that isn't an overwhelming puppy seme type like this one.

Literally a pair of idiot couple, but unlike others with this dynamic where the couple has the same air-headed personality, these two are actually polar opposites- the uke is a tsundere and the seme is a puppy type, but they're both idiots in their own rights and could've prevented years of heartache by literally communicating properly. Very cute though and I like the drama, wasn't too angsty for me, also the character design from the couple in their 20s, to 30s, then 40s was just superb.

everyone gets their happy ending and everyone is gay and literally paired with each other, not cringy tho and it's a cute read.

This can't be completed, there has to be more. They are sooo cute! The pacing and couple dynamic reminds me of Honto Yajuu with both the uke and seme are madly in love with each other, except the seme in this one is more normal and not lowkey an ikemen, the progression is also episodic and centers on the slice of life concept like HY. Also, I read some complain about the art style but I absolutely love it, yes it's simple but the expressions and gestures were so animated I'm practically watching the entire work move on its own, I'll take that anyday over pretty artstyle but everyone is so stiff and barely shows any expression. Anyway, I really enjoyed this, I hope the author continues this in the future.

really cute despite being problematic, the ending was just not my cup of tea. Would be interesting to know more about them though, I like the uke well enough, he's interesting.
