Link and Ring
Really cute and really fluffy. Though the main couple is lovey-dovey they don't make you cringe, you just feel good witnessing their lives unfold through the pages. So good. I like that they have such a healthy dynamic and complements each other so well, great communication from both ends, and both are willing to compromise for the other, heck the seme even went first and tried to be the bottom so the uke will not be strained instead of forcing the uke to bottom like most yaois. I also like that the side couple's story is literally left up to the readers imagination, there's high chance for romance but nothing is ever confirmed in that one shot, they could also end up sailing smoothly into their happily ever after like the main pair, but they could also have drama and angst specially considering the potential uke's preferences and behavior.
Home (TSUYUKI Yuruko)
this author is really good at making smooth and mellow conflicts, the right amount of tension that doesn't drag on so when the pair finally consummate, it's so worth it and everything's all good. It's a comforting read. I like that the uke did not sexualize the seme when he was a kid and only even realized his (romantic) love for him years later, I thought this was gonna go through the shota/pedo route, thankfully it didn't. The interactions between the pair when the seme was a kid was really wholesome, they love each other, but it was more of a strong friendship kinda bond, I think it's the absence from each other (tho they do keep contact) through the years that made that warm feeling evolve into desire and even romance. All of the works from this author that I've read have been rated 5 stars thus far, it's just so good how they present the plot, plus the art style is so good too.
