Complete ch 36 That last meme where it’s making fun of this over used concept makes me laugh. We’ve all seen this before but here we are, still here. It’s used constantly in fiction. Complete ch 85 Just spent like, 3-4 hours rereading this. It’s about as good as I remember it being. (Ch 85)

Last ch 50 Erden! My stupid boy! You’ve brought her so much happiness don’t give up now! Go save your super amazing wife! (Ch 38) Her husbands back and you’re gonna get in trouble! (Ch 39) Erden loves his wife! I think of Yeonwoo from Second Life Ranker whenever I see the little Erden with the plain mask. They have similar shapes to their masks so it can’t be helped! As readers we get more information than we would if this were real life logic where you are just seeing a mask. No cute faces with the mask where his emotions are very obvious visually. (Ch 44)

Last ch 66 She’s so fucking cool. Astina, from Martina to now, you are the fucking coolest. (Ch 45) Foreshadowing! (Ch 51)

Last ch 96 I liked it a lot more before it got really angsty with black magic girl. There was a better way of handling that. Said method is a little underhanded but it would have been effective. Athanasia is getting her footing back which is great. Go her. She deserves everything. Even Lucas likes her, how is that not a statement of her greatness. She needs to grow some more in subterfuge and manipulation but she is still very capable. Said this to the universe but I have a feeling that black magic girl is going to die. (Ch 96)

Complete ch 145 I spent a whole day reading this. And it’s finally over. This is a 2.5 star story. There are some honest to god good characters in the mix but some either are lacking or are just fucking annoying. Love Allen, love that long haired priest, love her father, love all the knights. Once isekai girl showed up everything sort of went to shit. The last 20 chapters weren’t good and were paced oddly. I had to power through them and mostly skim the contents. The fact that I was able to do that and not miss anything important speaks volumes. It’s over now and I never have to revisit this again.

Last ch 70 The only character I really care about deeply is Ella, and she’s a side character that isn’t even seen that much. Trisia isn’t bad and I can enjoy her moments of being admirable but I don’t care enough about her as the leading character. The emperor is pathetic as a person and the mistress is arguably more pathetic than him. All three are incredibly broken for fucking sure. I care a little more about the emperor now since I’m curious what he’s going to do, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t pathetic. He should focus on himself before trying to receive the love of others. Fucking deal with the bitch and then spend years trying to get back on decent footing with your wife. Adopt a kid, say fuck it to the Royal line! He’s the fucking emperor, no one can reasonably stop him. (Ch 70)

Last ch 121 Before I scream about the actual story, IT WAS MCFREAKING DROPPED?! Oh my god. I didn’t know what I was going to think when I started but it didn’t take long at all for me to fall in love. Holy fuck. It’s so perfect. A serious breath of fresh air and actually good storytelling. Estelle is a precious angel and she only got more and more beautiful as she aged. She went from an angel to a goddess. Ein, the dad, total dilf. Goshhh, why is it that the dads in these kinds of stories are always so god damn hot? Karl/Carlo is hysterical and such a mood, his description of school is god damn perfect, too many humans. There isn’t anyone on the staff that I don’t like. I adore how the royal family and magic tower are never painted in a good light throughout everything, because they suck. They are awful and greedy people. Even with Iris I knew she was only going to be a tool to channel the queen’s unhealthy obsession with the Castillo’s. I am mad at Emel but Anne expressing that he’s such a douche for saying Estelle doesn’t know him when he never let her know who he believes himself to truly be was so perfect. So wonderful. Anne loves Estelle and I don’t care in which way she does. She’s the token gay option and I love her. Estelle is the goddess of the Castillo family but she is still a member of the Castillo family. Every time she shows that attitude it lights a fire in my heart. Those kinds of characters that are good to the people they care about and ruthless to those they don’t are chefs kiss. They even say that, that’s how she is! Really she’s always been like that, just now she’s more heartless to her enemies. I love the characters and the story. I hope it comes back! (Ch 120.5) IT’S BACK! IT’S FUCKING BACK! (Ch 121)

Complete ch 58 Broken boys need each other. They both have someone in their lives that is fucking obsessive over them. It’s not poorly written or paced. The characters are pretty decent, the girls aren’t annoying. (Ch 46) Jungwook and Jaewon, you fucking dorks. Making me emotional and then being all dumb and cute. (Ch 58)
