Dominant top, status gap(?) (different societies but he's a demon king, so-). Such a deep, loving affection that every scene they're together is heartwarming, no matter the scenario, even after they started off dark. That being said, there's incredible amounts of character heart break, bitter sweet moments, and heart wrenching scenes. I don't really like any of the side couples though, the chemistry seems forced and the best friend feels like he's settling (but for some reason I've become fond of the most toxic couple of the bunch, although they become less toxic with time). I hate the "resolution" between him and his best friend of never seeing each other again, despite all their years together. It physically hurts me. They don't even seem to miss each other even though they were so close?? Content warning for lots of non-con and dub-con. Read some time in early summer 2022 but dropped around chapter 10. Let's see how round 2 goes. Strong second hand embarrassment from the MC and at the end I feel like there's more questions than answers and it's too abrupt, but not the worst end I've ever seen. Some very serious stuff this plot deals with that may have been helped with further expanding in certain places, but overall a consistent pacing and an ending that ends where it's meant to.
