For both seasons: Top pursues, childhood friends Season 1: chapters 1-30, the last 5 chapters escalate RAPIDLY. Season 2: 31-76. The first couple was kinda toxic in how things developed, but oh my god it got so much worse with the second "couple." Hard to follow, but interesting none the less. Bittersweet ending. Chaebol director x employee, top pursues, straight top, obsessed top, dominant top. ML has a bad case of the "I'm mysterious, which means I'm manipulating you." Strong second hand embarrassment from the MC and at the end I feel like there's more questions than answers and it's too abrupt, but not the worst end I've ever seen. Crime boss top, dominant top, size gap, pseudo fated pair, character growth. Both alphas as well as omegas are physically strong in this universe. There was a strong tone shift starting around chapter 60 that made it feel like a completely different genre, not really a fan of the transition. Art style that I had gotten used to also subtly changed in a way I didn't like. Season 3 is basically just a side story instead of main story, it would have been best to divide it like that so people didn't expect to see plot that wasn't going to come. No official translation of the novel that I know of. Understanding chapter 16* is pretty important for understanding several plot points, a comment on Bato explains it fairly well but the whole chapter has a lot going on that's not directly said. Other plot relevancy that seems critical to understand: 39, 41, 42*, 46, 50 (helps explain 42 a TON) * Particularly complex Helpful notes: - Seoran, led by executive director Kwon, is a black market company. SH, led by president Seo, is a logistics/information broker company that helps black market companies like Seoran. MC originally works for a separate, competing company to SH. - ML and Kwon Shinwoo look incredibly alike. You can tell the difference in that ML has upturned eyes and KS has downturned ones. Shonen ai, not yaoi. Side stories are yaoi. Extremely toxic relationship for the longest time. Bottom is a heartbreaker, top is way obsessed and possessive, crime family, top becomes a bottom. I think a bit of a longer end could have done this more justice to show they ended up well and not so toxic, but the ending here still works. Official on NetComics, officials are here.
