I'm glad they didn't romanticize the apocalypse, the story actually touches upon the emotional rollercoasters that it would bring. Skip 26-most of 29 on rereads. Starts with a violent, graphic rape by the loan shark, then a trip to the beach with Jaehyuk, Jaehyuk seeing the marks and then having violent sex in anger. Seo Yeonoh doesn't attempt to explain anything and just let's him do it. Honestly the ending is such rushed bullshit. ML says he likes MC for the first time literally 2/3rds into the final chapter. It ended where it should but not how it should, there was so much skipped. The final 2 chapters felt like they should have been at least 6. I enjoyed the second half of the series more than the first, but the whole series had far too many sex scenes with many of them uncomfortable; I skimmed at least half of them. Also annoyed by how at some point MC's grandmother who was living with them suddenly seemed to move to permanent hospital stay with no mention (like that wouldn't have been important to him to show?) and how even after MC's dad died-- leaving only his minor brother in the home without an adult-- there's no further mention of his family?? MC would have needed to figure out how to take care of both his brother and grandmother with the extremely busy schedule he has but they're never brought up again. MC should have had more of his life shown other than just the loan shark. Had there been no side stories I would have been more upset with the rushed ending, but at least in the side stories we got to see them together properly. The art has dramatically improved since the start of the series with another big jump in quality between the MS and SS. The artist seems to have taken a lot of time to practice sex scenes in particular and made them uncensored. Season 3 is the realization/redemption arc for ML.
