1st Season: cute. Giving xianxia danmei vibes but Korean. -Mc runs away from home to escape possessive brother -- Mc is lost in woods and is dirty and finds clothes hanging from a low tree branch, which he tries to grab to change into but turns out he was actually by some hot springs and he almost stole soem guy's clothes (there are faries too) -- Mc is kind of Injured so he passes out (I think?) fairy guy takes care of him -- Mc very touchy/nosy, fairy guy opp -- like each other, kiss out of nowhere -- fairy guy's mom was a fairy that was kind of held captive on Earth by fairy guy's dad who stole and hid mom's fairy clothes, mom is resentful towards father. -- Mc finds fairy clothes hidden in bug rock and tells mom about it. Mom grabs them and defends to heaven with her newborn baby -- Fairy guy chooses to stay bc he feels bad for father -- father ends up leaving anyways, leaving him all alone in the mountain house -- mom leaves fairy guy golden earrings that can help him defend into heaven to be with his mom -- he gives them back to the fairies at the end and then he gives the fairies back the clothes they gifted them (reason why they r able to decend to earth) and it's goodbye forever -- relationship is believable ig, would have liked more episodes of them falling in love. Still nice tho. Season 2: --MC is from village and struggles with sleepwalking. Will often hurt himself/try to khs so has to be restrained --this is basically a curse born from a grudge. Fortunteller tells him the curse will continue worsenIng and that there is no future for hik in the village. In order to live, he must leave. He has to head west, where he will find fortune -- he is given wooden magic special handcuffs to bind himself with when he sleeps -- he ends up breaking them when he fights of some bandits tho so he won't allow himself to sleep since he cannot stop himself from hurting himself -- he finds a village and there is a mountain spirit that protects it -- for some reason the mountain spirit is temporarily scaring away the MC's curse so he can sleep soundly -- MC stays in village for a while while he gets his strength back from sleep deprivation and tries to find someone to fix his handcuffs --For some reason, only MC can see mountain spirit. Not really explained why? --Mountain spirit is first depicted wearing a mask, thought there would be more build up to the face reveal. Not muh. Not rlly important --should have out more importance on gloved hands rather than mask --mountain spirit can't touch people, uses fake arms to touch (joke) and gloves bc if he touches a human directly they will see all their oast and future lives. Not much emphasis on future lives, but rather future of current life. Mountain spirit sees it at the same time as human --MC and mountain spirit live together and fall in love (not very explicit) -- Mountain spirit is very mysterious abt past, but reveals that he is confined to the mountain because someone stole half of his power --MC randomly finds rock (other half fo ying yang) that is a physical manifestation of mountain spirit's missing power. He finds it by a river, it falls out a tree he was sitting under ------- --basically MC was a dog in past life taken care of by Mountain spirit and the child the mountain spirit raised because mountain spirit caused child's father to go crazy and like kill himself and mom in forest -- child grows up and is mountain spirit rlly pushes for him to intergrate humanity and live normal life -- dog loves mountain spirit and says he wants to acend to be able to touch him --when meditating for 100 days he turns into human form, can change back into dog --CHILD stole half of power, jealous of relationship between dog and spirit. Not weird way, wanted a father figure but spirit constantly out up a wall -- child makes wish and runs away with half of power, he knows about the power bc dog told him in conversation how spirit gave him half of power to help with his acension -- dog confront human, spirit is sad bc if betrayal --dog eventually dies bc of I juries from human's body guards when trying to give spirit his rock power back --alk this is revealed when spirit touches MC when MC is about to die bc he fought bandits --CHILD reincarnated as dog, remembers all past lives, life as human as punishment from fate --mountain spirit gives up half of power to save MC -- they r the first couple's fairy guy's grandparents --begining was meh, but the got SUPER GOOD
