A Kiss for Each Face
Kanata is a shy, innocent university student who's anxiously fending off the advances of mafia boss Alex, or at least that's his cover. Really, he's the infamous assassin black swan, and he's been hired to kill Alex. When he finally gets his chance, Alex catches him off guard by saying he knew Kanata was after him but he's still in love, beginning their strange relationship and game of cat and mouse where Kanata could kill him at any time. Kanata is a truly interesting and complex character who I deeply feel for, and the artwork is beautiful. The author did very well. Trigger warnings: violence, murder, human trafficking, child abuse, statutory rape.
Gokudou no Oshi Men
Azusa is the young boss of a yakuza clan who secretly stans the idol, Alto. One day he meets Alto at a bar and finds out that his cutesy persona is all a cover, and the real Alto is much more selfish, brash, and mouthy, but he's delighted nonetheless. Then Alto takes him to a hotel and practically rapes him, but tells him his real name is Kouichiro. After that, they become sex friends, then more, though things take a turn when Azusa's older brother returns from studying with the Italian mafia. Honestly, Azusa is very cute but the actual events of this story are whack. Trigger warnings: rape, lying/manipulation.
Feel Free to Hug Me
Rio is a teddy bear in a shop where the stuffed animals live and grow until they are bought and find a family, and he's been there so long he's turned huge. He asks the wizard who made them to give him a human body so he can help the shopkeeper and finds out he can keep the body if he finds love. So will they? Of course! No trigger warnings, very fluffy.
Mahoutsukai wa furete tokeru
Liz Ordo, the child of a human and a fairy, can absorb the magic of humans that he touches. As a result, he's been placed in quarantine in the greenhouse of the magical academy he attends, with no one but the fairies to chat with. Jill Cliff is a human mage who is ridiculously powerful, so when he meets Liz, he gets interested in another person who's "special" like himself. He takes it upon himself to teach Liz the basics of magic and how to control his power to convince the dean he can safely attend school. But when they finally get what they want and Liz is able to attend school and make friends, why does Jill seem so suddenly distant? Is he no longer interested now that Liz isn't "special?" A magical tale of love between two sweet boys with an interesting world and pretty art. I'd love to see more lore about these fairies. Trigger warning: mild bullying.
Fukujuu to Amagami
Minato is a friendly vet who finds an injured wolf on the street one night and takes him home. He later finds out that the wolf is actually the werewolf Iruma who turns into a wolf for the full moon each month, but he's lost his job and his house as a result of his condition. Minato quickly offers him work and a place to stay, following his policy that he can't stand by and do nothing if there's a "puppy in trouble." Iruma hates being treated like a dog, but he can't help but warm up to touchy Minato, despite his sadistic streak. But just when Iruma gets used to life with Minato, he stops turning into a werewolf, and he fears that Minato will lose interest and throw him away, just as he's been tossed aside before. I really like the cute dogs, although Minato is not my favorite seme. Trigger warnings: noncon, S&M.
Rabu Kue
Akabane is pissed at a student he doesn't even know, Moriya, for stealing the heart of the girl he likes. But while yelling about this, he and Moriya suddenly get sucked into another world where their exchange of "bodily fluids" (really just kissing) is used to power a woman named Marion's magical power! After that, it goes off the rails. Honestly, it had potential, but it failed to develop the relationships well, explain what was going on, then ended abruptly. Trigger warning: violence.
Yakimochi wa Kitsuneiro
Akiha is plagued by the fox spirit that haunts his family and has currently inhabited him. It makes ears and a tail pop out and causes him all kinds of trouble by taking over his body to get blackout drunk or dig up the yard, and whatnot. It's gotten worse lately, so he decides to move in with some relatives who own a temple while attending college, and that's where he meets Yukuri, a second son of the temple who is beloved by all animals. At first, it's annoying to have the fox get all over Yukuri in Akiha's body, but when Yukuri asks the fox to behave during the day and it actually works, Akiha starts to think they may have a solution. But as he spends more time with Yukuri, Akiha can't help but worry Yukuri is only with him out of pity for his situation with the fox, making it difficult to trust his affection. I like Akiha and the fox spirit a lot, both are very cute, and Yukuri is a good seme. Trigger warning: possible attempted rape?
Ai to Makoto (Moriyo)
Towa(omega) is deeply in debt thanks to his ex boyfriend running out on him. That's when he meets Aiji(omega) and Seiji(alpha), twins who claim to both be marked omegas, and they offer to buy him for the night. It goes so well that Towa agrees to a slave contract where they pay off his loan and treat him as their dog. Even when Towa realizes that Seiji is really the alpha who marked Aiji, Towa doesn't mind and things seem to be going well, but as Towa starts to be able to tell them apart and encourages Seiji to differentiate from his brother, it starts to upset the careful balance between them. This one is a little dark, but I think it shows interesting character growth for the twins by the end. Trigger warning: sex work, slave contract, rape, abuse.
Pop One's Cherry
Sakuma is a man's man, even though he's an omega, and he's known for beating up any alphas that act up, even when he's in heat. Meanwhile, his childhood friend Renji is a total sadist pervert, despite being the student council president, who mocks Sakuma for his old man pheromones. But when Renji catches Sakuma in heat using his jacket to jerk off, it pushes Renji over the edge and their relationship gets physical. Renji wants to get serious, but Sakuma fears that giving in to Renji will make Renji lose respect for him and lose his interest. Sakuma is a non-typical omega/uke, and Renji is a very interesting seme, and I like the way their relationship plays out. Trigger warnings: threat of rape, dubcon, aphrodisiac.
