Kawanagare Kikujirou is a kappa living among humans, and one summer day he runs out of water and collapses. Flower shop worker Mizutani Ryuuto hurries over and sprays him with the hose, saving his life, and Kikujirou declares that in return he'll marry Ryuuto. Although Ryuuto finds Kikujirou a little strange, he's gradually won over by his earnestness as he comes day by day, until they cross the line and Ryuuto is shocked to realize Kikujirou really is a kappa! Cute and sweet. I liked Kikujirou's character a lot. No trigger warnings.

Tsuwabuki is a lion dog, illegitimate son to the head of the wolf family, and he's always been treated badly by his family. When a proposal comes from the dragon god Shuro that he needs a bride to purify him (through sex), Tsuwabuki's sister forces him to take her place. Tsuwabuki believes he's not worthy to be Shuro's bride, but it turns out Tsuwabuki was who Shuro wanted all along. I wasn't totally satisfied with the ending, but it was still a decent read. Trigger warnings: child abuse, attempted murder.

Ritsu is a high schooler who just wants to revive his family's kendo dojo until one day he's suddenly confronted by the oni Kojirou who demands his family heirloom, the oni's mallet, in order to end a succession war among the oni. Ritsu is gradually won over and agrees to give it to Kojirou if he'll first use it to make Ritsu taller, but in attempting to do so, the mallet fuses with his body and Ritsu also learns the onis plan to invade and destroy humanity. Ritsu is betrayed, but Kojirou is delighted that he has an excuse to spend more time in the human world. And Ritsu finds he can't hold it against Kojirou for long when he sees how much Kojirou truly loves gyaru fashion, harajuku, and the whole of humanity. But just when things seem to be going well between them, Kojirou's brother arrives and announces it's time to go back. A fun read with a very unique seme and overall good characters. My only complaint was that to make it a happy ending, the author undermined the fundamental conceit of the underlying conflict which was a little anticlimactic and unsatisfying. Still cute. In a modern world with several old families descended from animal spirits and monsters, ogres are known for being especially romantic as they fall in love only once with their "blossom of fate." Hana is busy working at her adoptive parents' restaurant and assumes rumors of the young ogre lord searching for his blossom have nothing to do with her, until she meets the ogre Mitsuki and feels the spark for herself. This story is all over the place. It's as if every chapter they introduce a new conflict only to either resolve it or forget about it by the end of the chapter, and yet it also feels like nothing really happens, perhaps because it doesn't build up enough. It wasn't compelling, but the boyfriend was good about consent, so there's that. If you want to read it for the smut, go ahead. No trigger warnings.

Tsubakimaru is a young half-ogre orphan who was kidnapped when his captors suddenly died and he met, Shii-sama, the evil god of the mountain, turned into an evil god when humans cut down his tree. The lonely god is overjoyed to find that the young child survived due to his oni blood, and Tsubakimaru decides to stay with Shii-sama to help him not be lonely. But as he grows, the excessive lust that onis feel begins to become a problem for the pure-hearted boy, while Shii-sama feels he needs to set Tsubakimaru free. But even as Tsubakimaru and Shii-sama are beginning to figure out their relationship and the mountain seems to finally be healing, villagers who see the young ogre become convinced they must destroy the evil god again. This story was 90% of the way there to being a tragic masterpiece, but then it just suddenly deus ex machinas it's way into a happy ending that doesn't really make sense. Also for some reason it decided to go with a weird tentacle hentai thing for a lot of the sex scenes, but hey, I don't judge. The relationships and characters are really well done though, and it's still worth a read. Trigger warnings: incest themes (guardian).

Yamato goes to get his master's favorite disciple Ietettsu only to find he's not quite the pious monk he was expecting, but as they journey together, he begins to appreciate Ietettsu's carefree nature and maybe desire more. A very cute boy love with no direct nudity and only one implied sex scene. No trigger warnings.

Akira Abe and Tamaki Homuraya are both teachers at a school, but one day on his way home, Akira sees Tamaki go with a man into a back ally, then grow a tail and ears. Akira drags Tamaki home and learns that he's a fox spirit who subsists off of semen, and he needs to feed, so Akira offers himself, only to find that when they kiss, Tamaki gains a seal on his tongue and becomes Akira's shikigami due to Akira's unknown onmyoji ancestry, making Tamaki the only man he can feed from. Both men know this relationship can't continue, but they also kinda like it? Trigger warning: noncon(hypnotism).

A selection of ghost stories, the first three chapters about a cat ghost and the last two about a cherry tree spirit. They’re a little strange, but honestly, the cat ghost made me cry, so don’t knock it.

Ch.1-2 - Amanojaku is a demon who can only say the opposite of what he means and likes to cause trouble, but Karasu-tengu always helps smooth over the problems Ama causes. Ama wants to do something for Karasu-tengu, but ends up causing even more trouble, and even when they're finally in love, Ama feels bad because he can't express his true feelings! Cute couple. Trigger warning: drug(aphrodisiac), attempted rape.

Kokuten is just a cat yokai, but one day the human Takeharu appears before him and, mistaking Kokuten as the mountain god, offers to be Kokuten's sacrifice in return for a bountiful harvest for the village. Kokuten tries to chase him off, but Takeharu is very persistent, even when it comes to physical intimacy. However, Kokuten is starting to like having him around, and he's worried that Takeharu will realize he's not the mountain god and leave him if he can't do something to grant Takeharu's wish. I want to nominate the real mountain god for best supporting character. He's barely in it, yet he steals the show. Trigger warning: noncon
