The artist style is wonderful… I think the crown prince knew the Duke in the past … maybe he is a childhood friend and lover that he doesn’t rember.. also the Duke might be planning a rebellion because it seems he might have more power than thought …. Especially power in the palace even though everyone calls him a merchant and he might have been banished .. what if he is a real royal or Nobel… One thing for sure is that the Duke might actually love the Prince … even though it seems he might be actually plotting revenge against the royal family… I seem to be hypothesizing …

I think I saw this novel somewhere but I’m glad to find this and read it. Edit (5/6/2025): I knew it… Maximo crazy for Renato because he liked him…but his anger outbursts got the better of him and he hurts Renato.. It was a cute flash back and seeing that Maximo literally blurts out the truth of what he says but his obsession gets the better of him.. kind of glad they don’t ended up together.. it was his fault as a child calling Renato a “useless beta” but also avoiding him and not helping him out when he was abused and needed it most… what makes him think that Renato would like him.. I already could tell that in Renato past life was because Maximo love obsession with Renato to have him as his omega and be the next king so no one can take Renato away from him… Especially that flashback Renato had where Maximo finally killed Renato omega mom and grandfather… I was like they finally died but now he was left with the obsessive psychotic Maximo.. Anywaysnit doesn’t excuse his actions and what he did to Renato…Luckily Kalid is a better Alpha, Spouse, and lover for Renato…
