different, very different but a good kind- as long as you can make it through the beginning, it stops sexualizing women (.. as much as a manhua can anyway ..) , and there is a good ratio of female-male characters and all of them are very capable & intelligent! mc relies heavily on his comrades, greatly values them, and its geniunely a very refreshing and really good read! minimal to no romance throughout the whole story (apart from the beginning but that quickly becomes void JUST MAKE IT THROUGH THE BEGINNING IT GETS BETTER I SWEAR) & parts tend to drag on, but its good if you want smth to binge :)) its p twisted in terms of morality lmao but super good! (spoilers and dont mind the mass amount of parenthesis used lmaoo) i really like how the mc has a very clear view on what he means to do and what he wants to do! hes very clear about wanting to create both a new world (artificially and/or through the current one) and the club from the start, and makes a point of following through and expanding (which he accomplishes). i really enjoy how all the characters/comrades have their own unqiue and likeable personalities, aswell as their own growth. they have differing views and thoughts on the mc, but (as a whole) viewed as an extremely powerful and mysterious entity. i think the relationship the mc has with Time as a whole is very interesting, viewed as an antagonist and something he needs to compete against/fight (make submit, however you interpret it) despite his power being time. the mc grows to be (saying this with heavy exaggeration) greedy, calculative, cocky, power hungry and generally. not that good of a person with a god complex towards the later chapters however you still wanna root for him in a way. idk hes very charismatic with the kinda charm a sly wet cat has. i just personally like that type of personality lol but his character as a whole is good! hes incredibly determined, resilient, intelligent, likeable, and ambitious. he cares a lot, like a lot about people (his people for the most part) despite being a villian. I absolutely adore how he grows and his overall growth in power, authority, and wealth + its also interesting how he loses his humanity as time goes on, and how his collegues notice his changes too. i really liked this manhua because of all the different characters and plot, but it just drags on. a lot. but theyre also so good and extremely satisfying when all the work that was put towards whatever they were building towards, finally it works out. its very memorable, definitely recommend reading!!
