Ch9 - Dropped Yeah.....no I can't really roll with it. The mom Asami (and maybe slightly henchman dude asoka(?) are cool but I really can't bring myself to like the mcs, especially knowing what he does to the son later. There's enough childish and immature/selfish idiots in the real world, don't want to read about them in fiction as well

Ch32 There are so many damn plotholes in this thing istg. It piles cliches on top of cliches, making the mc's backstory more tragic, more tyrant dad, sad backstory even in this world, being ultra genius that can walk up stairs at one and talk like an adult, and having her doing PhD lvl stuff at age 5/6, meanwhile no one bats an eye and just goes on and on about cuteness and wow genius and ofc everyone likes her except obvious villains and then even some slated to be villains fall in love with her and of course even having read thr book so many times shes still oblivious (the whole karin/her thing is so drawn out and stupid, if she knows about wilhelm's true personality couldnt she have put two and two togwther after idk the first read through?? How is she stjll thiz doubtful and confused after 5 years, besides if she hated it thatuch and was so on guatd and knew other ppl then just switch tutors smh. Also the constsnt comparisons of this world to the previpus oh x wouldve been easy for y in korea it gets really old after the umpteenth time. Also how some characters are conveniently forgotten (rwad: parents, esp mom) and theres so many timeskips that come out ofbbowbere and feel really jarring. Ch58 - debating dropping this series entirely, since season 2 started it's not just the art that worsened and keeps being very inconsistent (don't usually mind art changes as long as thwy stay somewhat consistent chap to chap) but it also seems like the writers/storyboarders have disappeared from the picture. The characters actions are a lot more confusing and nonsensical and clash with previously established plot points: her brother ignoring the clear and bad symptoms ml is describing and instead berating him for sending a letter (when it's been established he cares very much for her health and wants her to live as long as ppssible, the only reason he agreed to the marriagw was that she stopped accepting his mana after accepting that of the duke) Her caring about her reputation and appearance, sure, but constantly overworking herself also doesnt make sense (also they just got rid of the cool pipe she has?? Haven't seen it for so long??) And tbey exchanged mc's personality for smt a lot more pushover-y and annoying Then Im losing it with ch 57, there is this strong wine that the duke advises her not to drink (tbh warning couldve been better like "oh the wine is rly strong, dont drink" instead of just "pretend to drink it" but with how little info he has on her condition whatever, fine. However she, knowing how frail she is and susceptible to EVERYTHING she STILL drinks the damn thing and then nearly faints from how strong it is but then because all the ppl here are simps for the previous emperor and not the xurrent emperor (even though theyre meeting at tve palace ro meet the emperor) there's no repercussions/tarnishing of her image only woww she's so great and amazing tryinf it and nearly passinf out cuz shes young oh wow the emperor would be proud Art change for the worse oof Ch38 - End of Season 1 https://bato.to/title/101500-a-match-made-in-mana

Ch18 - End Very.....mediocre, hard to like any of the characters where they range from mid to trash

Feels really pedo-esque and too manipulative considering the super naive amd childlike personality of mc

Skipped to sequel ch144 (ch143 - end) After reading a couple chaps of sequel I'm glad I dropped it, revenge went from 100 to 0 super suddenly and idk the plot holes keep popping up and istg Elise's denseness is getting a bit old after so much time has passed esp since she should maybe youknow KNOW her husband by now? Dropping it to 2 stars Chapter 117 - dropped Maybe it's cuz it's been too long, and there's been so many other greats published in the isekai genre, so this is feeling kind of flat. The romance feels a bit too forced and characters have zero personality/very 2d It also just feels too overpowered and everythinf always gets solved perfectly because Elise is perfect and cant make mistakes and no matter how stupid/dire the situations (medically speaking) it's still always perfect and she manages constant miracles to the point that it's basically an expectation. At the same time though the communication between characters is horroble and so it feels like the plot drags so slowly, idk could she not talk to ml about his revenge ever?? Esp since she knows him that well supposedlh and is best friends with person who's family he wants to kill??? Hiatus

Ch10 - dropped characters aren't consistent and plot is hard to follow as it doesnt flow very smoothly, and it seems to skip over a lot of scenes that they maybe briefly mention in passing.

Ch27 - Dropped Have to turn brain off too much to read this one, so many plotholes and flipflopping characters and very little sense of any kind -_-
