The book opens with the typical, "You were mean to this cute girl, so now you - My fiancee - are no longer my fiancee!" Scene. Our girl's fiancee is annulled and she marries the crown prince? I'm not really sure how that came to be, it was very much skimmed over. Anyway she enjoys cooking and some court drama arises surrounding people plagiarizing her chiffon cake recipe, and also the crown Prince can turn into a wolf??? And meets her as a wolf, and she has no idea, which is kinda shitty.

This is good so far! The premise is, the fiancee of the king is executed on false charges by the king and his mistress (her younger brother watches this happen, which isn't important atm but might come into play later). In her next life, she is the daughter of a baron. She gains memories of her past life as a young woman. The crown prince, the son of the aforementioned king and mistress, needs a fiancee. So daughters from multiple families become candidates m, including our girl, by having to work as maids in the palace (which doesn't make sense, but whatever). She isn't resentful of how her past life ended at all. At the palace she meets her childhood friend who obvs doesn't recognise or know her as she is now, and falls for him, I think? He's currently captain of the knights. Anyway, it's good

This is excellent. So an isekai'd girl intervenes with the main character's bro because he's gonna take in demons to protect his sister, the and die. All the OG male leads are predatory and diminish the OG MC, so our girl empowers her and shows she doesn't need them.now they all hate her. The big bro of the MC is still taking in demons, but since they work on desire (where his OG desire was so protect his sister) he's holding back from our girl (if ya know what I mean)
