️️️️ Unrequited Love, School Life, Childhood Friends, Comedy, Friends to Lovers, Love Triangle Wow. This is probably one of the craziest plots I’ve read in a BL. It was quite the journey. I’m glad it ended on a happy note. ️ Abuse, Bullying, Assault, Rape

️️️️ College, Coworkers, Boss x Employee, Reencounter, Childhood Friends, Unrequited Love It’s probably one of the more realistic relationships I’ve seen in a boys love. The male leads are very different from what you would usually see in queer fiction relationships. Usually the top is stronger, more confident, more successful, taller, buffer, bigger in general while the bottom is usually more shy, skinnier/smaller in general, not muscular, weaker, less confident, etc. The author of this story totally changed that (and they do explain why), but I think it gives a more realistic feel to the plot. To be quite honest, it’s such a refreshing thing to see and I hope more authors follow and create more diverse characters and stories. I’m sick of seeing the same basic plot and character design.

️️️️ Yaoi, Childhood Friends, Unrequited Love, School Life, Student x Student I actually really enjoyed this story. I almost didn’t read it because of the rating. I’m glad I give it a shot. The main couple is really cute together, although it does take awhile for them to end up in an official relationship, it is totally worth the wait. I think they both are a little stupid lol. I also enjoyed the second couple. I think their personalities are hilarious. They really go back and forth arguing. I’m glad the ending was happy!

️️️️️ School Life, Misunderstandings, Unrequited Love, Short Read It’s a little cringe, but it’s also non-toxic and simple. If you like something that’s cute and straightforward this is a great choice. There’s not a whole ton of drama, really the whole premise is just the misunderstanding between the two male leads, which in itself is kind of funny.

️️ Age Gap, Childhood Friends, Unrequited Love, Divorce, Reencounter, Reality TV, Showbiz It’s just okay. I don’t find the plot to be very interesting. I just got bored when reading it. The art is good, but it’s just missing something.

️️️ Historical, Age Gap, Threesome, Time Travel, Short Read It’s good, but it’s kind of strange when you overthink the plot. I mean, it just seems weird to raise a kid knowing you’re going to end up in a romantic relationship in the future. Like how do you do that without bias? Also the title makes no sense. I don’t believe cigarettes or chocolate were invented yet, and they didn’t even either in the story.

️️️️️ Hockey Player x Marketing Manager, Reencounter, Age Gap, Unrequited Love, First Love I like it so far. It’s rare to see a BL where the top is the one in love first. Tbh I don’t think I’ve seen any others. Usually it’s the bottom who has the unrequited love or falls first. It also gives me bickering vibes, as the two don’t really get along right away after their reunion. Almost like a softer enemies to lovers.
