The Heroine Wants Me As Her Sister-in-Law
37 - lovely - but getting looong Dear, it would be really lovely if the misunderstandings about her nature were solve : everyone knows she’s a wolf and she keeps freaking out she might get discovered - seriously ? Everyone ! C37 still lost in lies

The Guide to Capturing a Black Lotus
135 - 4+ - not great , but beautiful and entertaining - very short chapters, so wait for a bunch ! It‘s also slow t’s a rather typical demon hunters story, light on the demon hunting art, but slowly building up on the dramatic and mysterious background of the ML - with plenty about the witty MC and her binded relationship (she has to obey the system, but has a mind of her own to protect the ML I’m certainly greatful the mc is here to take care of the poor ml little heart ( who cares if he’s half a monster, neh ?) The pace is fast, yet it certainly takes time to have a glimpse about the big picture, but it’s not boring The art is very nice, the colors are absolutely beautiful
It's Up to Us to Fight the Tyrant
26 - it’s a 4+ which by all mean is pretty high in my book : It’s a good light read, for those of you who are tired of vilains, heiress, baby bosses and such, and dig a bit of fun in more normal : it’s also a book where the MC is a « support character « (that’s what she says :) So where does this 4 come from ? It would be pretty accurate if everything wasn’t so overated here I try read 20/30 c to rate anything - i seldom do otherwise for pure trash (adiction to abuse or socio/psychopath) , or extremely good stuff (once every blue moon, alas - the last one being « be the actor » First things first - the MC evolve pretty fast as she describe her life, her illusions and ambitions - then comes to term with them in 2/3 chapters. It has a comic relief purposes : not a descriptive one ! After that, she’s a pretty grounded person : she doesn’t know the story and how it end (yay ! Not another psychotic girl believing everything is written and people are book characters (although that she might actually believe )) She’s pretty average in a lot of ways, but she also head strong. She’s not talking out of place, she behaves in a cery relatable way and feels frustrated on front of jerks; She has small mean, but strong intentions to use them ! In my book that’s a strong female lead : you don’t need a fortune, a pedigree or a mighty husband to have the determination to do good. She also doesn’t have many values, she’s neither knightly or saintly : she just have what a normal person should have as education standards for small kids : and that’s enough ! That’s enough for her not to betray a bizare little girl, and to face the evil guy ! The evil guy is truly bad : so it’s also pretty normal to be scared. The fun part is that she also find it exciting - because of that stupid trope about « novels beliefs » ! it’s ridiculous and i seriously hate how this overused setting is damaging good ideas - but for once, it’s helpful : if she didn’t have that delusion : how would she dare to do anything ! That’s already way better that a whole bunch of transmigration stories Now, add to that a very mean sidekick : the very special little girl is another transmigrator ! She’s an arrogant and bossy child actor /teenager ! There’s a very good balance in the making of that second character : she’s a child : she gets tired, she’s powerless (! Yes not another toddler driving the world !!) , she’s unfavored (! Hurray ! It’s getting tiresome to read babies with bad wording and gaga adults going on crazy shopping sprees to drown kid in their (expensive) love) She has skills : in her former life she was a talented teenage star, hence she has a « royal « ego and she can improvise too. Sooner or later she will have a power from her bloodline (asset in the sleeve) Luckily that bossy and explosive teenager character is kept from being bothersome by her age, and by the vilain’s mischief. The two girls need and complete each others in many way They have many kind of dynamic : a nanny (mother) / child, a boss(tyran) / servant , two people same world, two people facing same dangers - they have to depend each other’s good will, and slowly learn about each other This is already enough to make lots of character development. Personally i love the MC : the story is too funny to find her « real », but it still comes to mind : she’s so normal, she didn’t grow a malicious mind, or super smartness from being from another world and she’s scared of scary people ! (Pretty normal in my book) Nonetheless, she never decides to leave the « story » pile money to make a life somewhere else. She decides to stick around : because that’s what a responsible adult would do yo protect a small child ! Even if that child got a teenager’s foul mouth ! That’s enough to make me happy - i could do the same; i’d get scared the same, and my ideas miht not be so much better than her if i has to face evil in my very normal skin ! Isn’t it what true bravery is about ? Yes, one could consider bravery is stupid, wouldn’t it be sad to think being a good human is too ? Lastly the story is fast paced, and pretty fun too
