chptr. 50 // 21 mai. 2020 what worries me at this point of this story, despite what i initially thought would have been, are not the duke’s feelings since he seems really open to them to himself at least. what worries me are the feelings of Vivian, since i’m sure she is in love with him but is blocking herself because of her visions. she’s only thinking about surviving and not living this to the fullest so she is full of different worries. her fate was originally ill and she needed to work a lot to eat, so she struggled with it. now she even feels guilty about who the duke’s wife should have originally been. my point of view is that she didn’t actually destroy anything since for me, those two are soulmate since the first glance they had to one other. another worry would be about the other women, to whom he just sent flowers (bc he forgot about her in the process hdkshdk) and seemed really wicked... (also about the woman who was to become the duchess, her appearance and both their problem to have a child for different reasons... well, a lot of shit still has to go down for our lovers to find peace.
