why the fuck did i read this

read the official TL on bato.to honestly it was just like. okay? the romance wasnt that great, the characters werent all that well written, the mystery was a bit too cliche

incredibly interesting psychological thriller with a manupulative male lead and the deranged serial killer hes manipulating...ends in tragedy, bittersweet, yet satisfying

okay. its like. i feel mixed about it. the age gap is a little weird, and its clear taekyung only ever saw heeseo as a child. and heeseo basically raped him. in season 2, i feel like taekyungs just way too normal about being locked up. and the fact that the author seems to be hinting at taekyung's adoptive sibling being the 'second top'...like it has its moments, but theres just too much weird shit thats the authors fetish thats bringing the rest of the writing down lol ch 62

holy fucking shit and also hell blood and gore, questionable somnophilia? its not clear if they were nightmares or reality

i think i liked it but it like. got way too farfetched near the end and there was this weird tonal dissonance. there was really only one part that scared the shit outta me but i dont think its bad
