this comment took the words right out of my mouth: "overall i really loved this story but i had a few issues with it that im still thinking about now that im finished. for one, i genuinely don't understand the purpose of the r@pe scene between the main couple at the very start. if im understanding Eunsung's character properly, he knew even in highschool that his existence hurt Soohyun, so i dont understand why he would act that way after meeting him again?? ESPECIALLY considering the fact that he too is also a victim of Park's SA. it felt really random and i thought that it was less and less justified as time went on. i mean, does eunsung even have a right to get mad at Park for trying to r@pe Soohyun at the end when he arguably did the same shit?? also, i wish their relationship progression was addressed a bit more. i know it's sometimes realistic for people to just naturally start dating without ever really putting a clear label on it, but these two are so twisted with their personalities (especially Soohyun) that i feel like a clear confession/getting together scene would've wrapped up the story much better. and last thing, i don't think graphic r@pe scenes like this are ever necessary... i still feel kinda sick thinking about it and i just don't understand why it was necessary to fully illustrate it and show it so explicitly. i think it definitely could've been shown without the detail and it's honestly more offputting then beneficial to the plot. overall though i did really love this story, i binged it in a day for a reason LMAO. but i think a few things could've been better"
